Naruto: The Wind Calamity

Growing up on Naruto and getting older and realising how many plot holes and inconsistencies are in it, this story fills a lot of those. I love the variety of ninjutsu and the explaination of fuinjutsu as well. I always wondered why the leaf wouldn't just spam training their ninjas in flying rajin. This story explains the pre-requisites necessary in order to utilize it perfectly. Very glad I found out about this story. Also glad to see Hiruzen get some more background and character development. Always made me mad the way he did Naruto, I didn't even think about the politics in play as a kid. Makes sense that a jinchuriki who is considered a national weapon wouldn't be allowed to fall under the influence of one clan. Unfortunate for Naruto but logically makes sense. All in all very happy with this story. Needs a higher rank for sure.

It amazes me how fanfic can be so good and fun, truly the best fanfic I've ever read. I haven't read one this well developed in quite some time.

Good stuff. Best Naruto fan fiction. Read it if you want to have a good MC with a good power progression. Read it if you believe in the power of friendship.

Great series, honestly the best fan fic on the site with writing that gets consistently better throughout the story. Great read and I’m honestly excited for the next arc after the Konoha Crush.

Genuinely surprised how good this series is, and continues to be. I feel like the Author has gotten better and better. I have very much enjoyed the Authors approach with explaining things, that aren't really touched on in the Manga/Anime. And his approach to the overall story, some things are very different, some things are a little bit different, and some things happen the way they do in the Manga, but slightly different. I have enjoyed it all. I only wish there was a thousand more chapters to binge.

best fanpic out there MC is smart, calculative, training maniac, greedy but emotionless and manipulative. he does not have any friends . but novel has great depth. initially fight scenes weren't that good but later they improved very much. it focussed on politics and other things when Naruto was kid which not eloberated in original so it is fun to read. it also explored 3rd hokage which is pretty interesting.

One of the best fanfic's out there and the author actually mentions what he is focusing on so that readers don't waste their time. Power system has a lot of original ideas placed into it so not everything is a carbon copy of Naruto. The fights are extremely well written and a lot of events are explained. In terms of plot, it appears the author is focusing more on that in the recent chapters now that the mc has accumulated strength, but it still seems extremely slow. Characters are well created but isn't many of them. Theres only 1 notable character in the entire story but looks like the author is trying to add more in the latest chapters. Plot: 6/10 Abilities and power system: 10/10 (Just a copy of Narutoverse but with a few original ideas and the mc actually has knowledge of cheesy strategies that were used in the anime/manga) Characters: 7/10 (Characters are good but not many of them) Overall: 7. 7/10

The author has written a realistic story using all the details and even events that don't have much depth in Naruto. The fights and storytelling were not good in the beginning but after the author took a break and came back, they are very well written. This is no longer fan-fiction but a real novel. But the MC is too much pragmatic, calculating, training maniac, careful and what I dislike the most is emotionless. He doesn't build social relationships with his friends and author doesn't write a real friendship story. The MC is also not connected to anything other than being a ninja, so it feels without depth. Personally, I'm going to quit because the MC's behavior with friendship makes me sad, but if you don't mind a more emotionless and manipulative MC, you can continue.

best naruto fanfic ever. the mc grows timely and through hardwork, not through plot armour-kun. has comedic and serious elements blended together properly.
