!!!READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE YOU START THE STORY!!! First off this website and app is amazing, so it's sad to see it's declining all because of people who won't listen to the Creator of it. Neather Claw if you are reading this, no matter what you did an outstanding job!!!! Shadow Slave is an incredible novel and the best one I have read so far, It's why I gave it 5 stars. The characters actually feel like people, and aren't perfect or op and know what to do no matter what happens. It has outstanding world building. And let's be honest this story also has its flaws as well. the characters have made moves that don't makes to much sense, or there might have been one Deus Ex Machina that one time under the "Tree". But it has gotten a whole lot better, and I'm still greatly enjoying the ride. Also if you come into this novel and are mad he fufills the novels namesake what did you, expect it's in the name? So all I can really say is try if for yourself and see if you like it!

Out of all the novels i have read on this site this one feels like a proper novel, like the one you would buy in a bookstore. it's really descriptive and written beautifully with a deep lore that you explore as you read through, it has an interesting power system and good ensemble of characters. though if i have to nitpick i would say the only weak point till now, if any, is maybe characters. but since it's still an ongoing piece of work and to keep the mystic and charm going, all the characters aren't fully fleshed out just yet. overall it's a really good novel especially the starts it just hooks you in and never lets go. i would give it a solid 4. 6\5

Ahhh Shadow Slave by far most popular novel nowadays, standing strong agaisnt novel such as LOTM or Ri. Lets start with world with is kinda unusual it is apocalyptic Earth similar world where people live in mega cities. People fight special „misions” in order to survive when they do they awaken and grasp ability to fight with nightmare creatures. There are Gods and even more mysterious beings, Word building and foreshadwoing exists but it lays in often in certain descriptions, and it is full of plot twists. MC is amazing i mean amazing, finally short, not cold not pushover, strong when he has too, and hide when he can like shadow. Side characters are also well written. Romance is a no no for now with few exciting chapter. Power system is shere ss excels it is UNIQUE And ORIGINAL not some bs system. ALL in all it is best novel for a reason

Honestly I thought this was just going to be a fun read with no serious emotional attachment but NO. I love Sunny and the emotional turmoil he's putting me though is making me question my own sanity. Would recommend 👍

Interesting book similar to omnipotent readers viewpoint although both have different storyline both of them have that intriguing start that makes both of them entertaining to read specially if bored and want to read a random novel, this should be for u.

It's the best ongoing novel I've ever read. Nowadays there are so many system novels but the system (nightmare spell) here is vastly different and it isn't special only for mc like you see in other ln. everything that mc have is earned by his hardword. no hot-blooded MC but a very calculative in fight mc, though trouble always find him for his [fated]attribute. the world built is best one. it doesn't give info dump but clear every doubt you have. lastly the mc isn't perfect from the beginning but he isn't naive either. he is greedy in a way. at first he only want to survive, then he wants to protect his sister, then the people of the world, now is trying to save the world. For new reader I only have one wish. Just be patient and read. You won't regret it. you have my word on it.

Despite my usual aversion to light novels, as I strongly favor manga, I was quite skeptical when my friends described this series as the best they'd ever read. Nevertheless, I was instantly captivated from the first chapter. Now, I eagerly await each new release every day. It’s a path from which there's no turning back; my sole regret is that I can't experience the thrill of reading it for the first time again.

Just peak dish, goes crazy every day. G3 almost never misses, i recommend you read it right now as it'll only keep getting better and better 🙏🏾.

Really good, for better or worse a chapter is more of a small part rather than feeling like a whole chapter but this novel is pretty entertaining
