The first few arcs is very well written and logical cultivation novel for me its 10/10 but after ch 800 it become generic cultivation novel with a lot of forced plot and out of the characters decisions which honestly kill it for me

One of the better novels out there. The main character doesn’t follow usual tropes and isn’t especially strong and is usually lowkey. Steady pacing throughout. There’s no negative of reading this novel and book2 is currently out. Would recommend.

this novel in particular is one of the best when it comes to cultivation, I'm re-reading it for old times' sake. . . lol. The feeling that the protagonist goes through is truly that of a mortal entering the immortal path. It's a little slow but the world building is great.

its alright id say, the story feels forced because of "coincidences" such as the teleportation altar to the scattered seas he found. or how he turns dumb in vital situations such as the kunwu mountain arc or the moulan plains escaping arc.

This is definitely one of the best novels I've read thus far. Although there's a sequel to this novel "immortal world arc", i haven't found any reliable sites yet. The character building of the mc is pretty good, however the story building can be stagnant and sometimes boring so its average at best. I still highly recommend this novel to those who are interested, its definitely a good read.

The most crucial aspect of this is undoubtedly the MC; he is nice, which is unusual on CN, and, maybe most importantly, relatable. This is because he utilizes his brain, he is calm, he feels human, and we have been with him since his childhood. How Han Li (MC) develops is great, and you understand his actions and understand him; sometimes you know what he would do in certain situations, which is unusual in fiction. I recommend everybody read this. Some think it's boring, but I don't see it that way; it may be slow at times, but I only see what's necessary. If you want to go on an adventure, read this. If you want to, read this.

There is a second novel with 1k + chapters called this and then ':Immortal world arc'. You need to finsih this tho. Ok, the worldbuilding is mid, so only 4 star but da writing, da plot and the progression speed is nice. Alr, nascent soul in like 600 chapters might seem slow but this is a journey about ascension! and the limitless journey to immortality! Read it if you have time. It is a nice introducer to cultivation novels if you want to experience what a more generic cultivation novel is like. No, not modal, or average because i would get young master trash bs. This novel is like pretty tame with the tropes/ cliches so itsa gooda! Mario!

For those who seek a classic cultivation novel. This definitely takes one of it's top spots. The main character is the most humble that i had seen. The world is well constructed and also has a bit of romance but without the harem and rape shit that have in some chinese novels. Also, the novel is kind of enjoyable to read. One downpoint is that it focus too much in cultivation (which is normal for a cultivantion novel) but also focus a lot in magical weapons. It has slow start, and a lot of side characters. But still, is one of my top 10 xianxia novels. 4. 3/5!

The main character is not a hero filled with a passion for all that is good, nor are they an edgy anti hero that people love because they go around breaking laws at first glance just because they can. Han Li was simply a mortal given a chance to cultivate, and by doing so he is given "his own path to immortality". The novel starts off very slow, but I urge you to give it a try. It becomes worth it to read.

I think I don't need to mention how amazing this novel is. I just want to advice a few people to read at least 200+ chapter because that's the point where it is getting really interesting.
