Just keeping it real... for real, for real... I don’t like any of the adults in this story; well, maybe except Preceptor Xia! This was a very frustrating read, but I guess that’s what the author was going for! So, good job doing that, author! LOL I had lots of fluctuating emotions for at least 600 of the chapters; I was teetering on the edge of insanity every time Xiao Ling was nice to Pei Ziheng (👈🏽that guy is dead to me)! Ziheng doesn't deserve a nice ending... no way, no how! ❌ I love the little darling Shaohui ❤️; he’s the best kid ever! 💯

We all have mixed opinions for this series but I actually quite liked it. Altho we have some toxic characters in the series I like the fact that the second lead atleast gets a chance to be with the fl. The love triangle is the strongest compared to other webnovels. Pei ziheng deserves a lot of love altho his ways are mean, you can see the character development he went thru
