Very good book about a sharp-tongued critique who reincarnated as one of the strongest knights in the empire. Except that right now, he's nowhere near his prime. With his cute lovely daughter and a God of Cookery System, he is on his way to evolutionize the way of eating of people in the Norland Continent
Great novel, I really enjoyed the ongoing story. The ending felt rushed and I with there was more to the underground city, Lantisda, killing the Roth's Empire King Andre and Josh. Going and visiting the Moon Nation would have been nice as well. There were certain points where I got annoyed by the attitude of Irina, and sometimes Amy I know she's a haughty princess but still.
Honestly, I loved it most of the time it was very consistent until the end of the novel it felt pressured rushed and unfinished as if the author was being held at gun point to complete it other than that it was pretty good
Picked up this novel as I had an itch to read a restaurant related story (like Restaurant to another world) and to stack the 15+ other ongoing novels I am reading. Honestly wanted to drop it seeing how much repetitiveness and inconsistency the author was showing. Decided to finish it since the story was completed. Was going to give it 2/5, but removed another point due to the rushed ending with multiple incomplete plot threads and holes. Reader beware.
Great novel, the ending obviously was subpar but apparently was written by another person so whatever I guess. Well worth the time put in to read this whole thing though. Personally I am still impressed by how far this concept was taken, when I first read the synopsis I had my doubts, but impressively executed. Good novels are not just the concept is tried and tested truly
The plot is great, there is always a reason for everything that is happening. The characters are adorable, especially the main character's daughter. Honestly, this book blew me away. everything is explained well the story is exciting and flows perfectly and the characters are lovable. my only complaint is that there aren't several thousand more chapters to read! If you like cute things and also like food, this is the novel for you!
I loved this novel. This novel is an absolute masterpiece. There were many really nice plot twists and cliffhangers throughout the novel that just made it an enjoyable read. Only reason why I'm giving this 4/5 is this is really just my f*ck you to the person that wrote the last 150ish chapters of the novel. They seemed so rushed and it felt like a completely different person wrote the novel. Like, where was the steam train, where was Amy growing up, where was the big reveal that Mag is Alex, where was the magvie, where was Mag raising the baby gods into guardians for the Norland Continent, where was the reveal of what Ugly Duckling actually is, where was Mag turning into the God of Cookery the way that he was supposed to, where was the stuff about the Holy Maiden, where were all the "Chef points" or whatever tf they were called, Where was the integration of the Moon Nation into the Norland Continent, or at least a widespread knowledge about it to both civilizations??? Sorry this turned into a rant, but this is genuinely a great novel and I hope it gets an alt ending.
Good novel, pretty much about chilling and comedy novel. Very nice to read as your side novel, some action here and there, and a bit of romance. But overall it's satisfying to read. Thank you
Good arcs with fun filler chapters, Great story with quite the interesting MC. Most chapters were for casual read but those were the hooks main story was good but not that amazing and it ended quite abrupt and weird. All in all would recommend to others as it gives good laughs.
This book was a great read, however, the ending's pacing was quite rushed. I don't mind it but the writing just felt unnatural for some reason. But overall, a great novel to read if you have time to waste, just be sure to turn off your brain so you won't think of logical things because well, it's fiction.
Also whatever happened to the Magvie, I wanted to know more on that. Why did they ever give Amy a system? I kind of feel like the only reason was that maybe the story was getting a little boring and they needed to give Mag a printer.
