Chen Sinan received Xin Siyue’s call in the afternoon at the company.

The two were both quiet when they picked up. After a few dozens of seconds, Chen Sinan gave in and asked, “What are you doing?”

Xin Siyue glanced at the closed fitting room. She lowered her voice and said, “I’m shopping with your mother.”

“Mhm.” Chen Sinan became quiet.

Xin Siyue considered it for a while before asking, “Are you going home after work?”

“Yes.”

“Chen Sinan…come to our home after work. I’m waiting for you.”

Chen Sinan wanted to ask why but she hurriedly hung up. He was shocked, wondering if something happened. However, when he returned, he noticed that it was quiet everywhere except for the sound of the kitchen hood.

Chen Sinan followed the noise to see her wearing a flowery apron cooking.

Xin Siyue smiled when she saw him. “You’re back?”

“Is today a special occasion?” Chen Sinan asked.

“Every day is important when I’m with you.”

Her words of love seemed to have broken the silence and indifference between the two of them.

Chen Sinan looked behind him and noticed that Chen Chenan wasn’t here. He lifted his brows and asked, “Just the two of us?”

Xin Siyue slightly lifted her head. “Isn’t that good?”

“That’s great.” Chen Sinan suddenly recalled that the two hadn’t spent some time together ever since Anan was born. The two spent their time at work and with Anan.

Xin Siyue had spent quite a bit of thought on this candle-lit dinner.

The candle light swayed gently. Chen Sinan unbuttoned the buttons on his collar and he tugged on it. Glancing at the table of delicious dishes, his instinct was that Xin Siyue was going to discuss something really important, and he knew very well what this had to do with.

However, he didn’t have the courage to have a second child.

No matter how much he wanted one.

But compared to the child, he rather her be safe and stay by his side forever.

He was already satisfied that she gave him a healthy and cute and lively Anan.

“What are you thinking about?”

Chen Sinan’s gaze landed on Xin Siyue’s slender fingers on his shoulder and up to see her wearing a revealing low-cut purple long dress.

Chen Sinan held her hands. “Are you trying to seduce me by wearing such beautiful clothes?”

“What? Are you unwilling?”

Chen Sinan watched as her smile slowly faded then he gradually replied, “Why would I be? I’m naturally happy that I get such a beautiful woman.”

Xin Siyue looked at him and smiled charmingly.

Chen Sinan slightly tugged her firmly and she fell onto his thigh. He glanced down the collar of her dress to see that the long dress had a split. Because of the way she was positioned, it revealed her slender long and fair legs.

Chen Sinan laughed and landed a kiss on her collarbone right then. He asked in a low voice, “Mrs. Chen, what are you plotting by doing all of this?”

Xin Siyue wrinkled his shirt and unbuttoned a button. She thought that was still not enough so she secretly unbuttoned another one.

Chen Sinan looked down to see her teasing him. He got up and carried her to the dining table.

This startled Xin Siyue. She hurriedly covered his lips which was about to cover hers. She reminded him, “We haven’t eaten yet.”

“Aren’t you the most delicious dish?” Chen Sinan retorted.

Xin Siyue’s face flushed, not helping her situation. However, she clenched her teeth and still bravely looked up at him. In a gentle voice, “You can eat me later. I want to dance for you.”

“Hm?”

“When we just got married, didn’t you want me to dance for you alone when you saw a video of me dancing? However, we were too busy, so I never got to dance for you. Let me do it now, okay?”
