Summary

Shao Xuan joins a friend in his expedition to a recently discovered archaeological cave. After he picks up an ordinary looking stone he is teleported to a different world and wakes up in the body of a small orphan child. The world he is in now is still in its stone age with primitive tools made of stone and the ways of the people are savage. Savage isn’t the only thing special about the people though, because they have superhuman strength, jump higher than trees and punch stones. In short, they are able to cultivate their bodies. Despite all this, it is a real struggle to survive because of the scarcity of food. Together with Caesar, his pet wolf, he tries to survive in this cruel world.

Worth a read for the world building. Had its ups and downs like any story and the conclusion was kinda boring, but I had a clear picture in my head of the world the entire time.

I have been recommended this so many times, so i wanted to give this a try Here is a doubt:- what's the power scale of this novel. Is it still in mortal scale or they can become really powerful cultivators like any other Chinese novel and btw what's MC's golden finger ??

It stays in the realm of mortals. The golden finger is a mysterious white egg in the mc's consciousness that basically makes him better than other tribesmen. Version 2.0. I won't spoil it so I'll leave it at that.

Not sure if it’s only me but I feel like the ending was a bit rushed? Mainly the whole final battle and the time skip kinda made me melancholic. Tho it’s prolly cuz I wanted this to be longer or have a bit more side stories idk.

Agree the ending look a bit rush but I think it was better since this story was about our old stone age era not some kinda of op mc to become god and it was make sense too. This novel development about how our ancestors survive before our tech development.

I've read Superstars of Tomorrow and just finished Star Rank Hunter (and feeling abit down cuz SRH is unfinished and updates EXTREMELY slow) and LOVE them both. I've seen alot of positive comments on this which has the same author but hv been feeling slightly reluctant cuz I don't know how I feel about the stone ages.

Can anyone please recommend novels in this type of setting in ancient times, stone age type, no yaoi, if it's r-18 or romance even better.

that's a diff story i saw that one too... this one is a 5 star novel (it was just ruined because of some d*mb*ss complaining there's no magic and sh*t so it's not his cup of tea and gave it 3 stars). it has a great mix of world building/pacing/action/plot progression or pacing

Agree...those people are blind and bisa towards mc who think the worlds and heaven bow down around mc. For me this novel was the best coz mc is fighting for the survival of the tribesmen and development for future generations just like our real world have stone era and how our great ancestors survive for next generations. This is what we call being realistic mc and stroy.
