    Did Lumian already have Mr Fool's mark on him before the incident and it activated and sealed Termi or did it appear after? I used to think it apeared after but after cheaching the early chapters again it looks like it was already there! Why would Mr Fool mark a random street child? 🤔

      To me if that’s true, then the author CF just got better after experience; Lotm was his first time writing in a gothic style like this, so naturally after book 1 he improved his writing

        That's why I didn't express my opinion on reddit, even if it's true. It is only natural that the quality of the second book is better than the first because the author has become more experienced than after finishing the first book and seems to have taken his time to reflect on the events of his second book. Because It took years to release it.

    I'm sad man, 1-The "boon" gimmick that was introduced in this book messed up a lot of things imo. Book 1 had the merit of having a clear system, a clear path to power. you choose a pathway and you STICK to it. only artifacts could grant you (limited) abilities from other pathways and only beings above Sequence 0 had the privilege of having powers from other pathways (because they were a culmination of those pathways). now with boons introduced everything is chaotic and not in a good way and it brings a lot of questions that i don't even want to think of. *why did nobody have boons in Book 1? *so Klein went through Hell to survive in Book 1 and you are only telling me now that he could have "collected" powers from all the gods that were supporting him? wait are you implying those gods were oblivious to the boon-thing or what?. 2- Fvck Lumian as the Mc Book 2 would have been better being a collection of adventures of the Taro club members in their efforts to wake Klein

      The f*ck you mean f*ck lumian???? Unless you give your reasoning, I'm implied to believe that you're just sh*tt*ng on the book cause Klein isn't there. Lumian is as good of an mc as Klein, sometimes he's better and I know you Klein died hard fans will dislike but just know I couldn't care less. Klein was already 22 and much more smarter since he came from earth, while lumian is an 18 year old who is a native to the lotm world. He doesn't have the knowledge Klein did.

        Fvck Lumian because there are too many flaw to his character. it has nothing to do with Klein 1-dude never received any (fight) training as a beyonder but watch him go around killing Beyonders more experienced than him in every aspect. 2-As you said he's a kid, then explain to me why he is written as being smarter and more mature than Franca (who is way older than him) and the rest of their group? 3- Dude has plot armor thicker that my aunties munchongs, should have been dead by now imo

        • He's pretty experienced I'd say, I mean he fought a sequence 7 pyromaniac while being a sequence 9, that itself shows he's a genius at fighting, and have you ever thought that Franca and many other didn't recieve training, you think they went around getting trained by more experienced beyonders??? No, they fought and gained experience so is it truly wrong that he's fighting and gaining experience at the same time?? No, it's not. • Not everyone is Klein, lumian is smarter than the average person, Franca on the other hand is merely average, not the smartest character but she can hold her own, just because she's from earth doesn't mean she's suddenly one of the smartest persons in lotm, and besides lumian is smart, much more smarter than most people. • plot armour?? He's probably being led by the nose like Klein was during lotm 1, it'll all make sense soon.

      This is a bad idea. A boon affects the recipient much more than a characteristic, changing their personality. For Lumian, it's only weaker due to the Seal of the Fool. In addition, there is still the problem of conflicting pathway, so it is recommended to take an adjacent pathway.

        Though what your saying is true, it is still an option that wasn't available or mention to Klein, worst nobody ever spoke about boons in Book 1 not even as warning. All of sudden Book 2 makes it look like everyone and their mama(excuse my language) are getting boons left and right. it makes no sense

      I am not sure if you are reading to understand because then you would know that boons can only be granted by Great Old Ones and there are none on earth and the reason why there are a lot of boons now is bcuz the Outer deities have infiltrated the world more in the past five to six years due to the world by barrier weakening as the apocalypse draws by near
