What I like about this novel is the slow progress of the MC, him being low-key, and his kind but will retaliate if provoked personality. The slow romance also spiced it up for me, actually seeing how the relationship is planted, germinates, and watching it bloom and bears fruit. The satisfaction is comparable to as if you just unearthed a forgotten happy memory from your childhood. Each core characters got their own unique personality, which really adds ambience into the story. Some characters might be too annoying, but hey! there's nothing perfect on this world, we all got our own flaws. Them being annoying adds color to the story itself. This is my first review on this site, I tried my best to not include spoilers. I got myself spoiled hard just when I was immersed in the story, but I still continued reading. The best way out is always through, and I'm glad that I persevered despite being spoiled, as I get to witness a masterpiece until it's finale.

Same, this review actually persuaded me to try this novel, hope it's good Edit: Tragic. The MC is in his 2nd year of University whilst the female lead is a middle school child. Never mind...

Really good, but the ending is pretty meh. After the end of the final conflict in chapter 789 it cuts off sort of abruptly, then there's a 5-year time skip in the last chapter but the last chapter doesn't resolve everything involving the harem. I mean, it's good up to that point, the final conflict's pacing is perfect for how frantic and chaotic it is, but the sudden jump and the unfinished relationship threads with the single chapter as the ending bring it way down from what could have been an amazing ending.

Heres my review Mc is a fucking simp to the point that hes willing to give his entire life to that bitc- i mean that tsundere girl and THAT tsundere girl really hit my nerve AS IN! For the entire life she is blaming the mc of the marriage engagement even though its her fault like WTF! And the girl couldnt even say *thank you or *im sorry but instead she slapped him OMG if that was me i wanna grab her and punch her so bad (if you like this type of novel go ahead and read it no one can stop you im just expressing my own opinion of this novel. Overall. -100/10 i dropped this one in the ch. 400 i couldnt take it anymore.)

Yanzi is one of the most annoying characters I've ever seen. Supposedly she is 14, but somehow the author could embody a 10 year old there. The Mc actions are so strange, I wouldn't say simp, it's just weak character.

I believe after reading your comment that we can be friends. Do you have any recommendations where the mc is not a simp or a pushover. Most novels ik girls cross boundaries with mc. Except for agata from God of tricksters. Liked the romance in that novel.

Daym, thanks for the warning. You had me at MC being a simp. Welp should have guessed a novel with tags "Misunderstandings" and "Lack of common sense" could in no way be good.
