The summary reminded me of Profane Prince of Domination. The best Reincarnation & R-18 novel I've ever read. The author fixed those idiotic cliches of Reincarnation novels. Most reincarnation novels have arrogant & *d**t MCs where they run rampant cuz their pride of someone who had become an immortal or a god, only to get surrounded by enemies who could take their lives at any moment, then got thier *sses saved by plot armor. But the MC of this novel is wise. He realized that he had become a mortal, he knew that his vast knowledge could help him grow faster but couldn't save his life if he moved recklessly cuz there were many things that could take his life easily. He knew when to strike, when to lay low. The R-18 contents weren't exessive, so the main plot wasn't overshadowed. Unlike most R-18 novels where MCs just kept looking for s*x sl*v*s candidates, making the other characters became brainless s*x dolls, and overshadowed main plot like p*rn.

and most of his harem spouses have their own storylines too and is mostly present throughout the whole story and have importance towards the plot not unlike other reincarnation cultivation novels where they disregard such female characters after the author finally have used them in certain plot points then ignore them for the majority of the story.

I would say no, I don't like the MC, nor trust the author wouldn't suddenly drop the novel cuz why not. Some(many) would suggest otherwise, afterall it hit the top in ranking charts.. give it a try sometime and you will see whatever you like it or not

I don't trust the author either honestly. I have so many other novels on my list that I will most likely read before

Gotta say I'm a bit disappointed. Was looking for something to read since I caught up with Cultivation Online, but this really isn't as good imo.

CO mc is bit too naive for my taste but it's good. Still I like DC more.

I think it's really good development that he isn't instantly OP. He doesn't know everything about his past lives instantly. He is naive and innocent, but it adds to his character.

Yep, that's what I like about it. I usually don't read novels with naive mc but CO is an exception

you telling me you dropped LOTM ?? bro you missing so much. I admit the info dump in the early chapters are really a lot. But the thing is you dont really need to understand it. As you kept reading, these confusing thing will keep on happening that you will automatically understand it. Tbh , At the end of the first volume. You will find yourself addicted to it. Just give it a try

its not that the novel is bad. i can recognize that objectively its prob in the top 2 or 3 best written novels. its just that i dont like the start of the novel. i did read one chapter where klien wakes up nutting himself which made me realize that maybe the author isnt so uptight and there can be some humour, but i have to mentally prepare myself to get through the first hurdle. im not ready yet since i still have a few novels i want to read rn

I find that the best way to enjoy the first volume of LoTM, the part that people consider to be the most boring, is to see the world through Klein's eyes instead of looking at it as a spectator(reader). The mystery solving aspect of the story are so much fun to experience the first time because of how it all eventually unfolds.

He is just getting back into the universe at moment so will most likely be introduced to his wives / partners from before he died and build their characters a bit through flashbacks and memories. Might take a while to happen tho as he is focussing on other things and updates are slow.
