I couldn't get past the first few chapters, the father knows that his children and wives suffer from the mother's bad attitude and does absolutely nothing, they starve and are exploited in addition to hearing screams all day, the mother has a meek attitude and does not imposes itself, adults have no personality.

It was dragged at some points but it wasn't bad after. You won't regret reading it continuously. Patience is what made the bone broth delicious. The ending is satisfying so don't worry.

Summary looks good, and going to read this. But not so into female MC, which is a turn off here.

I must say this is the best novel that I have ever seen in the Chinese genre and I have seen some good ones ex:(library of heaven’s path, legendary mechanic). First of all, the translation and Grammer is of the best stuff and I mean the best out of them all. The translator doesn't drop midway, so you can be at ease that you wouldn't by uncomfortable by a change in the writing method. Secondly, the author isn't stingy with the content, he will give you the happy and sad stuff and he goes naturally at it(no extra good or evil cheese). Thirdly, the main character doesn't abuse her cheat power and only uses it an assistant mostly through out the story. The last and, in my opinion what gives the novel the epic title#Slayer of Quacks#, is that you can feel an authentic, heavy, Chinese flavor(culture not patriotism) through out the story, names of food, Chinese memes, old folklore and myths in a very detailed manner and life-like manner. Heavily recommended if you like light and josei novels.

I usually don't bother commenting on a novel, but it was so good(and I was in the mood) that I had to comment about how I felt about it after I read it. Guess i will do as you said

How do you read that "ah" words that sometimes placed on every end of the sentence? What it's use for? I don't get it...

This is well written and we'll translated story. . . The author bring the laid back, gentle and comedic atmosphere in the story, i hope there will not be any twisting tragedy that usually happen in the CN at the middle through the end where half the character either ended became the villain or dead. I'm so annoyed with the Father, although it has been multiple times describe which means it was the author intentions to make his characters that way but for fvck sake how could he be that ignorant even if he knew how miserable his family because the biased grandmother. . .

finished! Slow story and very boring in parts, some interesting characters and lots of delicious food. Extremely naive MC (I didn't personally like it), and sometimes it filled me with rage for his stupidity. 3/5
