Lmao a monster who loves humans. Ah pls he should have just went to some kingdom and stated that he wanna be a slave for humans and that he was a human once and would love to have a wife and live with her in peace. Simply childish thinking, people thinking about conquering the world and he still have the thought of girls or emotions. How the fck can u build a kingdom with those usless emotions. But ofc the author will make it normal and those usless emotions will be his source of power and cleverness ahahahha.

if you forget that the MC was original human than yeah i can see your point, but the MC was originally human that adapt to his initial hostile environment, i dont see why after he dominated his local area that he couldnt consider his human agenda. after all, the goblin way before him was just unhinge animalistic desires, the MC originally being human is what was the foundation of his personality that only later adapted to his hostile environment. and in the end the MC still has those human emotion of desire.

Ofc you are right about that point and this is only my point of view so don't take it personally or something , but you should consider the fact that he now became a monster. If he even have 1 iq, he should know that peace is impossible, and him working or living together with humans is not possible as a goblin. It simply doesn't make sense for humans in that world to even bother interacting with monsters except to kill them, ofc low intelligent creatures like goblins is what I mean, but then again them hating him and him trying to act kind or risk his life for his subordinates or try and work it out with humans, it's just weird. At least make him an elf and then I would understand if he wanna lick human boots or whatever, but as a goblin and acting that way, its simply boring and pathetic to see. And let's be honest there is no way humans can accept a goblin, cause it's like in our life. We don't live with lions u know. Well hope u understood what I mean.

im not offended but i think your comment about human emotion for the mc in kingdom building is kinda misplace. granted i only read up to the warlord era (vol 3-4) years ago so my memory of the story could also be wrong. but the MC isnt like the slime MC that loves human and wants peace with the humans. the MC is aware of the risk involve waging a war with humans, and his fears are vindicated after the first major human invasion into the forest, with the death and crippling of his spearmen liut. its the human emotion that the MC was so invested in his trusted goblin that gave rise to such loyalty from that very spearmen became a cripple. after all to a goblin prior to the MC, all weak goblin dies and obey their stronger goblin superiors. the human emotions and investment that the MC share with his goblin liut is what gave rise to the loyal goblin houses in the later vol 3-4. i would also agree with you if the story was a goblin mc instead of an incarnated as a goblin.

Kingdom's Bloodline, it's great! You will like it, 700 plus chapters so far! The chapters can be kind of long, and the first 20 or so chapters are okay, but after that, the story really starts! Give it a read!

I for the life of me couldn't find a good kingdom building novel aside from this that is actually kingdom building. There's the human emperor but even tough there's kinda some kingdom building there as in he helps his empire expand and solves its problems he's not the emperor. There's all Hail the king but again even tough he's a king it's not really that focused on kingdom building. There was a promising one where earth was absorbed and got connected to this universe where its all about building an empire and fighting against the hundreds of other ones to absorb their worlds but even tough this was really promising and the second actual kingdom building novel I could find, it turned into a s*x novel after like 600 chapters where all the main character does is f*ck women and cuck people to expand his harem and the "Phoenix energy" of the kingdom, so it turned trash. There was another one on webnovel the sun kingdom or something, again very promising but was dropped. That's all I found.

Lmao, there are no Chinese world-building or fantasy novels with just 500 chapters. . . never found one, at least. . . they all have at least 900. . . only the modern world ones have fewer.

Ohhh, sorry. Thought you meant something around 500 chapters. Have you already tried something by Fengling Tianxia? A good Chinese author. If not, try starting by Otherworldly Evil Monarch (his first work and one of my personal favorites) or Realms in The Firmament, both great. I assume you don't mind harem, since you até searching for a Chinese novel and almost all of them have it. If you do hate it, I could try recommending something else, although it's not as good as these two.

Goblin King is the highest class for a Goblin. However since this is a story the plot devise takes care of that.

But what is this novel? Chapter 9, of a monster who followed his monster instincts (which was wonderful) now has a little human girl? Damn, cliché strikes again. Dropping!

if you forgot about the fact the MC was originally human, and that his initial environment was quite hostile to whimsical idealism then you be right in that case, but the MC development is a realistic response once his initial hostile environment been settle down. if you enjoy empire building and more realistic miltary story this series gets progressive better though i only read up to vol 3 since im waiting on vol 4 to actually finish so i can binge the vol
