Gourmet of Another World

About as mid as it gets. Imagine every Chinese trope along with an MC who has no reason for living. The MC has zero personality and the only thing dragging this story along are the side-characters. I see a lot of reviews about the delicious food, but all the recipes are just normal dishes where the author adds an adverb to the beginning of the dish and then describes the use of magical energy to make it taste better.

Just finished reading the novel, the story is quite good although for me it would be much better if it has a little romance without harem. Overall, it's still a good read so I recommend it 😉.

I really enjoyed the novel at the beginning, although it's very repetitive, MC offends people then shows off his cooking skills and beats everyone and if someone that he can't beat up appears then it's Blacky's turn to beat them up. I dropped it after like 700 - 800 Chapters because it was too repetitive for me and it was getting boring, but still, if you don't mind it being that way, go for it, I enjoyed the Chapters that I read, and I also liked to humour.

I give this a 5. This is because although the novel is a bit repetitive at times, you keep on reading. After all, you want to know more. You want to keep reading because its slow, and relaxing. You zwant to read something that makes you feel good and makes you salivate.

I enjoyed this novel at the start. I like it when it is mainly about cooking and looking for ingredients. It's quite repetitive where the MC will change location, offend someone, join a contest to show off cooking skills and face-slap everybody. Rinse and repeat.

Throughout the narrative, both the main characters and supporting cast undergo development and growth, which becomes evident when readers pay attention to their individual arcs. However, it must be noted that some characters lack sufficient background information. Nonetheless, this is compensated for by the well-thought-out personalities and how they contribute to the overall plot. World Background: The world-building is praiseworthy, as the story gradually introduces the intricacies of the world at a well-paced rhythm. The approach taken here is particularly commendable, as it helps readers grasp the unique world and cultivation systems easily. The narrative refrains from delving into unnecessary details prematurely, ensuring a smooth understanding of the unfolding events and the functioning of the world. This thoughtful world-building adds to the overall appeal of the story, making it a wonderful aspect that readers can appreciate.

Kind of similar to i am cultivation bigshot. I will rate it as 'not bad'. In my opinion if author could have slightly improved the fan services. Usually you read this type novel when you want almost invincible mc or who pretend to be but here mc was sometime even beaten.

Pretty good novel. As someone who doesn't know how to cook at all, I still understood what was happening and I liked seeing the reactions of people eating MCs food, I felt like I was watching Shokugeki no Souma but without the ripping clothes.

The best story I have ever read to date. Second time reading it and it is still amazing. Thank you Author for writing this magnificent piece of art.
