So I already made a comment discussing this book but felt like it needed to be official. The beginning 500 chapters are pretty good in terms of plot with minor faults such as grammar and spelling mistakes. Around chapter 512, the author quite literally destroys the whole world killing all love interests, alliances, etc. They switch to a Wuxia cultivation novel halfway through with the same MC but different plot altogether. Don’t waste your time with the later chapters

Starts out relatively strong but my god how tedious it is right now. The only reason I continue reading it is because I've spent so much time on it and I don't want to feel like I wasted my time to not even reach an ending. The problem is that the author doesn't know how to restrict himself. First, this novel seems to be not just in the same universe as another novel of his but also brings in what seems to be very important characters from his previous novel. So now he's intertwining 2 novels. The problem i he keeps on reaching for higher and higher realms and power levels without developing the characters. The main character we start with, Gabriel, has had the least character development in the entire 700+ chapters of the novel so far. It also seems splits the focus into too many main characters which is just so disappointing. I mean even if Dragon Ball has the issue of barely any character development at least they keep an almost complete focus on Goku himself. So there's my rant on the disappointment I feel towards this novel. I would have given it a 1 star, but the beginning had an interesting premise and was executing it pretty well so I'll give it a 2 star just for that.

At the beginning of this novel you might find it hard to understand how the world works and the backstory of the characters, but everything gets clearer around ch. 100. Until ch. 500 the story is very interesting, the plot is not linear at all, and the relationships of the characters are engaging. But there is a but, the grammar is very bad, a lot of words are mispelled and after a turning point around chapter 500 the author gets confused with the names of the characters. The plot keeps changing, and there are way too much plot twists making characters look like kids with a personality disorder. Mr. author keep adding charachters realms and ecc. . . . The power sistem is f*ck*d up after the turning point and everything is a mess. So it's a good novel until the Upper realm saga around ch 600 so you can read it until that point the dropp it.

Starts off with the middle of the scene ongoing and the "flashback" chapters are longer than you think. This novel is about being betrayed and MC is not willing to trust anyone. Some of his actions are questionable but a decent read overall. .

The premise of this novel is interesting, unfortunately it is neither explored nor is it fleshed out in any meaningful way. Don't get me wrong, the story is interesting, it just unfolds in a manner that contradicts itself given the title. The writing is often infuriating as the author almost always ends chapters on unnecessary cliffhangers as if they're scared that readers won't return. Chapters fluctuate from not having enough material in them to simply being an info dump. Much of the foreshadowing is extremely direct instead of subtle, so it pulls you out of it. Finally, the plot never continues toward the protag's set goal, something always happens that changes the direction of the story and they almost never resolve the dropped storyline. Again, the story is interesting but the way the plot unfolds and how the author writes makes this novel something to read when other, better novels have yet to be updated.

Story is paced fast and mostly very entertaining. Definite must read from me. Some translation errors and some plot holes that irked me but nothing major that can't be overlooked

Alright now I have no idea if the original chapter 1 is still up. But if it is, ignore that. It's been taken off of webnovel and is definitely not the cannon ending anymore. Also please sit through the tower arc. I know it gets boring but I suggest to just tough it out. If you don't then skip some chapters. After the tower arc 8s when shit starts to pick up.

He kinda is, but you can just shut your brain and read. It is not unbeareble, you just sometimes think how the hell can he not realize that, at the first 100 or so chapters.

So he get smart or has a character development in the 100 chapters onwards?

Well actually he does stupid things for forced plot. He isn't intentionally stupid, you can plainly see how the author is forcing conflicts and such in the first 100-150 chapters. It stops happening after some time so we can call that character growth I guess? The premise of the story is pretty cool, you can give it a try. If the first 10-20 chapters make you want to die, then you don't have to force it. But I would still recommend those who can bear with the first arcs to read it. I wasn't really paying much attention at the start so I didn't feel as frustrated as others said. Having said that, sometimes you just want to bang your head to a wall. The guy occasionally acts like he has room temperature IQ. However, I suggest you don’t drop it immediately whenever it happens bcs it usually turns out cool in the end.
