The wring style is unique and ingenuous, there are some ancient distinct elements in it. Not suitable for everyone but I personally enjoyed it.

I am Chinese, let me talk about this book without spoilers. This book was written in 1974 by Gu Long, who is now recognized as one of the masters of fiction and has a unique style. Due to its age, this book may be different from current books. If you like the books of other Chinese authors, then please believe that the author is likely to have been a reader of Gu Long's books since childhood. The author has passed away for many years, and indeed, it is regrettable.

I met a traveler from an antique land. Who said- "Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. . . Near them, on the sand, Half sunk a shattered visage lies, who frown, And wrinkled lip, and snear of cold command, Tell its sculpter well those passions read Which yet survive stamped on these lifeless things The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed And on the pedestal these words appear My name is Ozymandias King of Kings Look at my works ye mighty and despair! Nothing besides remains. Round the decay Of that colossal wreck boundless and bare The lone and level sands strech far away."
