I am a Scarecrow and the Demon Lord of Terror!

cool concept, extremely poor execution. the start was fairly decent, but the more you read the more boring it gets. most characters have the IQ of a chicken, the world building is non existing and the battle scenes are garbage.

I will say first 200ush chapters were decent, but it really fell off hard after that till the end. MC faces little to no major obstacles in his way to become the God of Fear. Story just seemed so rushed from the start and the ending was just pure despicable.

the idea and the start was good but a lot of loopholes and weird stuff happening the author probably just soft dropped the novel at some point for example there is basically a whole subarc about making a film to farm his points and it was just never mentioned again we don't even know if it was finished filming, the big bad just imploding in the last chapter by itself is also a just bad also prob a translation problem but in some chapters people change gender and names every sentence

This story is one of those that could have been a perfect 10/10 since it has a really nice and original approach to things, but several small problems just ruin it for a 4/10 at most. Let's start with the MC waking up and choosing violence for no reason. He gains power from fear, and for some reason, he just starts with murdering rather than slowly getting stronger by becoming an urban legend. I understand that he is the villain type of character, but without knowing the reason, it just makes him a homicidal maniac. Also, he was supposed to be a normal human who reincarnated into that scarecrow. If the author just went into how he slowly loses himself or why he chose the aggressive approach first, then I wouldn't have this problem. The author couldn't decide the genre of this novel and changed it after like 60–70 chapters. At the start, it's all about fighting, but suddenly after that, it focuses more on horror, throwing away the figths since they change into the MC owerpowering them in a horroistic way. Neither side is a problem, but you have to choose one and not change it later. The enemies are useless. They are idiots that pose no challenge to the MC because of mistakes that are so forced. The fact that they look down on him because they didn't even look at the information about him is just stupid. At the start, all the encounters with them were just the same because of this. It takes 130 chapters for the MC to experience anything close to a life-threatening moment, and he starts as a weak being at the beginning of the novel. This leaves the MC without deep goals, and it shows since just wanting to be powerful without ever having to experience being the weak one somehow makes it feel empty for me. And again, all that was needed was for him to lose a fight and escape to avoid this. I will not make the author guilty of the grammar since it is most likely the translation. But a character changing their gender in every sentence (literally) is just too much.

Has a good storyline but has an ending that is too short. I think the author had no fun in writing it anymore because, with a good ending it would have at least 50 chpters more.

Initially it was soo good, upto chapter 30 i was like soo hooked, it still continued like that for awhile but later the plot starts going a bit down hill and is very rushed. Rushing the ending is like worst thing a author can do because it completely destroys whatever foundation u have built up. Its a 5/5 for the Initial stage of the novel but later its like 3. 9/5 but i still enjoyed it quite alot. And like many have pointed out the translators did a horrible job at names, they mess up the names quite alot but grammatical wise its ok It was good while it lasted :>

I really liked this novel the only thing that killed this novel was Grammer. I really like the plot him going around in killing and scaring. Even got himself a girlfriend

An initially captivating novel with a unique, evil protagonist that unfortunately falls flat due to plot inconsistencies and poor translation quality. Worth a read for fans of dark, sinister stories, but be prepared for some frustration along the way.

This Series Started out good and it had potential. But as Story Progressed Translation Slipped Up. The Story Left Many Loopholes and Incomplete Side Stories. The Ending Arcs was rushed where story was progressing for sake of finishing. Still its worth a read, at least Starting 40 chapers

I really liked it. It had great potencial. But in the middle author propably thought "F#ck this sh#t im out. " Finish is just pile of sh#t. Every charackter as show was instantly declined. There shown very strong enemies that i wished to watch figth with protagonist but no. I only give 3 because i liked it at the start. Other way i would give 1.
