Chapter 36: Thrilling Breakout (2)

The soldiers rushed out of the warehouse in horror, hoping the hornets weren’t agitated, but the insects chased after them in an organized manner, intent on attacking the soldiers’ faces with their stingers.

In a short while, dozens of soldiers ran away in panic while the soldiers who had been stung by the wasps collapsed in pain, wailing and rolling on the ground while clutching their faces in agony.

When Kyle came out of the basement after the swarm of hornets and witnessed the scene, he spoke softly, “It’s a rare biological card. It’s amazing! But it’s time for the raid to start. I don’t have the time to play with you. I have to get out of here as soon as possible.”

Ignoring the plight of the German soldiers, Kyle disappeared in the dark, holding the Nepalese Army Knife.

Stealth Mode: Activated

With the 【Stealth Mode】on, Kyle took advantage of the chaos outside the warehouse and skillfully weaved his way through the hornets and the soldiers and moved towards the parking.

Due to the disturbance at Warehouse 2 in the central area of the base, there were barely any patrol teams on the outside of the base.

Kyle traversed the whole way undetected and quickly returned to the military vehicle he’s stolen before.

When he opened the door of the back of the car and saw just six bodies, he jumped inside in a panic and breathed a sigh of relief when he found the girl sleeping inside the wooden box.

“Don’t sleep! Get up! I’ll get you out of here.” Kyle pushed her, but the girl did not wake up. Her weak body even collapsed!

Dead?

Kyle placed his finger under the girl’s nose and felt her breath softly, proving that she hadn’t died and had just slipped into a light coma.

But to be stuck in this situation with a wounded unconscious person, the risk was double now!

Kyle hesitated for a moment and finally gave in as he grit his teeth. “You’re lucky you met me. Since I promised I’d help you escape, then––”

He turned the rest of the words into action as he carried the girl and tied her body to his back with a rope. Her body was soft, just like a soft quilt.

“Not as heavy as I thought,” Kyle commented as he faced the entrance of the back of the car.

However, just as his front foot reached the edge of the back of the car, he accidentally closed the door.

Da Da Da!

At the very next moment, the back door of the car was riddled with holes from the bullets!

Kyle’s eyebrows knitted together in frustration. There were three to four patrol teams outside the car. The fight was in their favor.

“I can’t get trapped in here!” Kyle thought. He lifted one of the corpses and kicked the door open and threw the body out in the open.

Da Da Da!

The German soldiers mistook the body for him and riddled the corpse with bullets and smashed it into pieces.

This was just the beginning.

Soon, a second body was thrown out, and once again the Germans concentrated the gunfire on it.

Not giving the soldiers to reload their ammo, a third body was thrown into the fray.

This time, the number of hits on the body was reduced by more than half. The moment the body was about to hit the ground, a figure appeared from behind the body and rushed in the opposite direction.

It was Kyle!

By using the first two corpses to consume enemy ammunition and the third corpse as a shield, he succeeded in exhausting the enemy’s resources and achieved a momentary opportunity when they had to reload their weapons!
