I Am the Fated Villain

I had no issues with the novel and it was a great read but once I got to around chapter 130~ the editor/proofreader leaving comments in the novel ruined it for me. I couldn't read the novel seriously or even properly immerse myself in the actual story because of the random comments from them. If i had to compare it something I'd say it's like people shouting things out loud during a movie in a theater. Very annoying.

the names can be a mouthful but other than that, i like this novel. i like seeing our main character maintain his position as a villain without revealing himself.

Final score 2. 5 > Rounded up to 3 * Hmm I liked this but I really think it wouldve been miles better without the system. Just pure cultivation. I didn’t see it much before but after seeing the greatness of [Journey Of The Fate Destroying Emperor] it’s about ten times better than this purely because it has no system. I’m comparing because there are a lot of parallels. One of the main problems is that The author often skips about the cultivation realms and system advantages and materials. Like we don’t even know how much transcendent bones compare to other materials. There’s no baseline so to speak and the fact that the novel begins on like tier 5 or 7 or something kills it. There’s no chance to be immersed in the cultivation system because he uses point to cultivate anyway so it’s even more boring. Also his abilities aren’t being used to 1/4 their potential all the time so another disappointment (supposedly he could absorb physiques) Also the way the author places all these heaven chosens are a bit iffy to me. Unnatural and quite pandering to the situation. Also there are some pretty useless arcs that just serve to make mc cool. Like we have an entire arc to get a spear but he is almost already above that spear already. I would wish that the arcs leave a lasting reward that he cant grow up above in a few arcs. There are a lot of good points too like the novelty of the plot and the scheming nature of the mc. I like the decision on the harem to be non existent. Also the interactions are pretty much better than a lot of novels.

Over all a great novel in my opinion mc is a villain with brains and his plans are hilarious to read and in the later chapters I love that he is faking to be the hero against the evil dark person when HE is the evil dark person (I forgot what they called the demon captivator so I'm just calling it "evil dark person") 10/10 would recommend

Like most cultivation novels the vocabulary tends to get repetetive, same with constant desciptions of beauty and absurd descriptions about fights and measurments. But it also does a good job at parodying the common cliches in the genre and the scheemes always feel satisfying and come togheter well. (at least until ch. 202, the point i have reached. ) Overall if you can look past the unnesecary word count and over the top descriptions its a pretty good novel if you like more scheeming protagonists who always have the situation under controll.

Man I f*ck*ng loved this novel. The mc is soo good he reminded me of Aizen but he is a better version. The plans he makes are so f*ck*ng fun to read . I love the mc fiancé she is soo cute the dialogue between them is so entertaining. The mc actually acts as a villain which is shocking compared to the novel in the top 10. Truly worth it but it appears that the translation has stopped we can only pray.

It's a pretty good read considering I only read a select amount of Lighnovels because of my expectations. The story is good and not to mention the action, face slapping, and the harem aspect of it.

Mmhm. . . it's a good novel specially if you are looking for villain mc. . . Here are some warnings, cliches are bound to appear so stay away if you are not into them or easily get irritated by it, but yeah the plot is not bland so you can definitely enjoy it even if you know it's kinda cliche. . . Furthermore the story and it's depth is very deep. . . It is very very interesting (I'm saying this because I read the Raw, it has 1350+ chapters and it's still ongoing btw). . . So if you like cultivation novel just go and read blindly, Do Not Search For Any Spoilers. . . It's definitely worth it. . . 😋🖤

For me the MC is the most cunning, no simp and scheming out there. The writing and translation both are excellent. It may be the best novel in the anti-protragonist or anti-heavens-chosen genre. Some downside is MC is made so cunning that sometimes he deduces everything just from some insignificant clues which is not logical at all. But overall a top tier novel and a solid read.

(Read 480+ chapters). This novel is fun to read because for one, MC (Main Character) is manipulative, self centred and a villain. Second and most important point, all cliche heroes and their deeds are made fun of and are targeted one by one. Romance doesn't exist but manipulative harem exists but with out the details of making out. Interaction with his cousin is much more interesting than with his harem. Starting of the book is like a thriller movie (~200 chapters) but later on it becomes a bit boring where everything is like in game mode and even interaction with system goes missing. Hopefully it will become interesting again. Overall I would recommend it. Would give 3. 5 stars but not an options :)
