Gu Ren was pondering about his and Ye Zhi’s secret marriage. As of now, only his family knew about it and his team still had no idea about it.
If they knew about it, they would be prepared for any urgent situation. For example, if he and Ye Zhi were accidentally photographed together in the future, his team would have prepared a plan in advance and would not be at a loss.
Cheng Qi had no idea that Gu Ren wanted to reveal such an amazing secret to him. He was still engrossed in telling Gu Ren about his next schedule.
“You should pick a day next week to take part in director Zhang’s audition.”
Cheng Qi, “This a rare opportunity…” He talked for a long time before noticing that Gu Ren was lost in his own thoughts.
Cheng Qi called out, “Gu Ren? Gu Ren?” Gu Ren seemed to have been thinking about something. He called out several times but Gu Ren didn’t respond.
After a while, Gu Ren turned his head. He looked at Cheng Qi and said softly, “I have something to say.”
Cheng Qi subconsciously said, “What do you want to say?”
Cheng Qi’s brain worked at lightning speed. He thought of Gu Ren going abroad, and he and Ye Zhi were on Hot Search again and were inexplicably linked together.
Although it was revealed that the two of them had nothing to do with each other, Cheng Qi was still worried.
Cheng Qi also thought of Ye Zhi’s previous agent sending birthday wishes to Gu Ren. When the netizens dissed Ye Zhi, Gu Ren immediately posted a Weibo post to divert everyone’s attention.
“Gu Ren, netizens often bring you and Ye Zhi together,” Cheng Qi said bitterly
“I know you two have nothing going on between each other, but you can’t make an exception for Ye Zhi in the future.”
Hearing this, Gu Ren’s eyes flashed with a strange light as he asked, “You said that I have nothing to do with her?”
Cheng Qi couldn’t figure out Gu Ren’s meaning, “Yeah, how could you have anything to do with her.”
At the same time, Cheng Qi thought to himself but he didn’t say it out loud, ‘Both of you belong to two different worlds. How could you be together?’
Gu Ren said in a low but meaningful tone, “I shouldn’t make an exception for her?”
Although Cheng Qi thought that Gu Ren was acting strange, he still nodded.
Gu Ren’s lips curled upward, “Then you are going to be disappointed.”
Cheng Qi asked with a puzzled expression, “What?”
Gu Ren looked at Cheng Qi. His expression did not fluctuate and his tone was very calm, “Before I say anything, you better prepare yourself.”
In the silence, Gu Ren’s voice rang out clearly as he said in a light voice.
“Ye Zhi and I are married.”
Different from Gu Ren’s calm expression, Cheng Qi was choked by his own saliva. He was shocked.
What? Gu Ren actually married an 18th line celebrity!

Cheng Qi coughed several times and his face turned red. He suppressed his emotions and immediately stared at Gu Ren, “You, you…”
“When did it happen? Why didn’t you tell me earlier? Why did you do that?”
Cheng Qi asked questions one after the other. He was so shocked that he could not believe the sudden news.
Previously, he thought that Gu Ren’s attitude towards Ye Zhi was a little special. However, he never thought that things had already developed to this point.
Cheng Qi could finally make sense of things which previously puzzled him.
Cheng Qi suddenly asked, “So the last time you asked me to help her with online comments, it was because the two of you were already married at that time?”
