Give this one a try. It's good for passing time if you're reading as a hobby. Though it isn't rereadable it still amazing in its own way. Good for one time completely read.

All in all, the story is great. The author, I believe, uses his own experiences to create a character, and personally, I respect that. The grammar and wording can be unnecessarily long, and the dialogue can be weird and doesn’t flow very well sometimes, but other than that, I personally don’t have many complaints.

4. 1/5 (767 votes) [Novel Updates] 4+ is good. Reviews are surely a little underrated on this book here. Lads let me give you a tip, if you want some good and trusted reviews for a novel you want to read search the novel name + novel updates, most of the readers there are veterans. My review - The novel is smooth sailing and pretty generic similar to the Toika's other novels. Btw this is the same author who wrote Everyone Else is a returnee. (def. Recommended) The book title is a little bit misleading and the story has a good ending. You can give it a try and see if you like it or not.

Boring and not well done. Overpowered from the start, and the constant redone jokes are a bore. The writer seems like one who wants to start strong as to get to the action quickly. Characters are 1-dimentional, and aren't well made. I didn't finish, but from what I've read, it's not a story to commit, but a story to stave off boredom.

I wasn't really expecting much from the novel because of negative reviews and low ratings (on other sites) but after reading the novel it pleasantly surprised me that the novel is actually great for casual read, but just don't expect much. Demon lords and heroes, extremely cliche settings with either hero rebirths as demon because of betrayal or oposite and vice versa. You can expect traits like calm, cunning, mature, knowledgeable etc in mc's personality. There is no heavy past like betrayal, revenge, backstabbing, an unachievable goal to mc which makes plot rather simpler and casual. World building is simple and with the knowledge of the mc from previous life author tries to build the world. For example in some countries there shady organization behind the king, some races discriminate against their own for different skin colours, god is fake with pontiff being corrupt, some secret dungeons for fast leveling and many more. There are several plot twist in the story which makes story interesting and makes reader going only if you enjoyed previous story. Author drops small details throughout the novel for foreshadowing, so if you use bit of brain and give small bit of a attention to this details than you shouldn't be surprised for plot twist. In many similar types of novels there isn't given a reason why mc goes under rebirth in past after he dies but here author has clearly stated the the reason of his rebirths, so if you wanna know stick till the end.

The character development was good though it may have been lacking when it came down to Maetel but the overall plot was great just that it was lacking enough romance.

I swear some of you are actually stupid. If this website let me, I'd honestly say something more extreme. You're telling me you read a novel with the harem tag and you don't expect a harem? Actual clowns. Anyways, the book in itself is mediocre. Everything is predictable and boring. The girls are the traditional 'I'm obsessed with the main character after meeting him once.'. The main character behaves like a high-schooler with a hero complex. Not really worth your time.

I like this novel, the plot is really good and the character development is interesting, and I like the fact that the main character is a boy, but I am so fucking disgusted by his harem,

I'll rate 4 stars here to improve the ratings by a little bit. The story was actually fun to read unlike what I expected. Nevertheless, the ending has much to be desired and it was kinda boring that it ended that way(yep the polygomy ending was awful)

In typical Toika style, there is harems, decent fight scenes, and a not so satisfactory ending. I don't think the novels bad and encourage others to read it. Don't expect anything grandiose from it.
The harem is there cause its popular among novel readers. It's a reaction to our degeneracy.
The fights are pretty good, but they sometimes lack oomph. They are lengthy, but that length is used to create very detailed fight scenes.
Those are my only issues and it is overall a average novel, yet I believe "Stop, Friendly fire!" , another Toika novel, does what this novel does better.
