does anybody know any novel similiar to this? i like to concept of "plagiarising" the original songs/books/games and everything else to another world/reality. Even though it sounds rather common it's pretty unique. I've only seen one other book like this

Versatile superstar: Rise in Hollywood has a very good Hollywood vibes, and the author uses a lot of real life movies to show the greatness of the MC. (e.g. Batman dark night) I have a Mansion in the Post-apocalyptic World: Basically he uses the resources and knowledge from another world to build an empire.

update to the previous comment, i finished the book (i read it on other site). I definitely recommend you to read it. It was probably the most thought-provoking novel i have read in a while. Also you can learn alot about china's culture (partly the modern one) from it.

The book is already pretty funny, when you add in the point the author got banned from writing from China, it makes 100x more funny.

I agree, after all the times he got banned in the plot and "overcame the ban" and even married the director of the ban agency itself, its pretty amusing that he seemed to finally get banned for writing about frozen and disney copyrights i guess lmao

I think this would've more potential if a person not from china wrote it, I'm not criticizing the novel because it's good, i read it too, but that's all it have, it's good for what it is nothing more nothing less. If the author added a little just a 'little' bit of foreign influence like in his poems, speeches, etc... Then this novel would've been godly. Foreign countries doesn't lack famous historical figures that's in a whole new level than china's historical figures. For example: Arthur, Plato, William Shakespeare, Da vinci, Napoleon, Charles, Einstein, Alexander the Great, Lincoln, etc etc... There's so many famous historical figure that china can't even compare. Instead of the author using it to his advantage, instead he place heavy emphasis on his own opinion and biases wich in turn ruin a perfectly good novel.

It's not a bad read, it has plenty of funny moments. Though it has lots of racist comedy, so if you're not able to stomach stuff like that this probably isn't for you. Sadly the story will never be finished as the author was shut down by the Chinese SARFT for what I assume was criticizing them for being corrupt, which is hilariously ironic.

Yo Sir Admin! The chapters are all messed up! The chapter titles are okay, but the chapters' content repeats under another chapter. So we're missing a few chapters. Please do something about it. I realise you guys are busy... But do try. That's all I say. Thank you!
