Imperial God Emperor (Web Novel)

This novel is part of a tetralogy that includes three other works, but it can be perfectly enjoyed as a stand-alone story. At first, it reminded me of those typical stories where a seemingly weak character becomes a misunderstood genius. However, as the plot progresses, you realize that the stakes are much higher. The protagonist's mysterious past adds a layer of intrigue that keeps you hooked from the beginning. The author continually introduces new plots and interesting concepts that make the story unpredictable and exciting. Although the protagonist may seem a little powerful at certain moments, the complexity of him as a character makes up for that feeling of invincibility. What really attracted me was the way the author has planned the story. The clues and references scattered throughout the novel suggest that something big is on the way, which in my opinion makes me want to continue reading. I'm not going to say that it is one of the best novels there is, but I can tell you that it will help you pass the time, as long as it is not super demanding.

Overall this novel is a fairly average Cultivation novel. The story/plot is solid enough all the way through with some decent twists here and there. MC is pretty standard, nothing too wrong with him but doesnt stand out. Was leaning towards a 7/10 but the ending leaves a bit to be desired and there are some loose ends not closed. 6/10
