The royal bastard of House Vasquer, Argrave, has changed after his stay studying magic at the Tower of the Gray Owl. The sickly man’s awkward posture and cruel behavior have been replaced with a neat dignity and acerbic wit. His listless life has found a path of undeniable purpose. Most come away thinking he seems to know too many details about too much. Few can claim to know his motives or his goals.
Behind the scenes, though, the primary contributor for an open-world RPG’s wiki battles existential dread and things far beyond his ken as he struggles to adapt to a grim, gothic fantasy world that he had the misfortune to claim as his favorite game. This is his tale.
#####What to expect from this story#####
This piece is a high-fantasy style story, featuring many of the species and surroundings one might expect to find in such a world. The cultures are original and well-developed, with the primary setting being a European-style feudal society. Warfare, fell beasts, and natural disasters are commonplace in Berendar, and take the center of many plots. The protagonist is a smooth-talker, but the world does not exist for him; he must struggle to gain power.

Comments on the novel chapters for the last week.
I got this recommended in some other novel's comments. It's moniker being Gem among Trashes. Upped my expectations a lot. I'll probably catch up to the latest chapter by tonight and I can provide a review. See yaa
Really want to try reading but don't want to start without knowing if it's in the middle of a big arc right now, at the risk of getting blue balled after catching up. Is the story in the middle of any major arc that I should wait for? Chances are high I'll like it so no need to worry about that.
Jackal among snakes? More like a diamond among a bunch of sh*tty harem coal😭🤌✨ This is what asake meant by “work of art”!
It always surprises me when I see the description of this novel. So it's still possible to find gems in the lower ranks
Peak writing, peak world-building, character development throughout the novel and not just titsy bitsy chapter of char-dev. Overall, a novel worth considering if you loved Game of Thrones/ShadowSlave and such.
Welp, gonna stack up a few hundred chapters as per the comments. Not gonna end up in another Kill the Author situation (I am still scarred)
I want to impart all new readers with the wise words author has bestowed us: "Smart is sexy".
Time for a reread even though this isn't finished yet
Let's stack another 100 chapters again. Stacked for a year and harvested 140 chapters!
Mm i forgot the chapter on which i had stopped reading the novel and i want to start reading it again. What should i do?
