Summary

I don't like it. I skip several chapters because it was too boring. But the translator did a good job to translate all the chapters. However, I think different people different tastes in books. So, I guess you guys can try to read it and it might take as your liking.
Well written. I had high expectations in the beginning. However, the story starts off very well, but then tangents into a somewhat odd way. The heroine somehow opens a dress shop (shrug) with not her own money. and from there, everything else comes out not really believable storywise. The male lead is still not super likeable and the romance fell flat (not many romance scenes).
I have to say I was a little disappointed in this one. It had such potential, but I feel the characters and their silly decisions made this hard to get into. I found myself skipping chapters, hoping it would get better.
While this wasn't bad, the characters just didn't do it for me. The romance was bland and the personalities seemed rather shallow. Sorry to say, the thrown in backstories were annoying to me as well.
Okay characters and plot that's a lot more complicated than it has to be. There were definitely chapters that I skimmed impatiently, wanting to get back to the main characters. Julietta is not the most loveable FL and it really feels like a lot of work for not much payoff romance-wise, but an initially unlikable prince does turn out to be pretty charming by the end of the book, though I admit I like arrogant characters when they are absolutely shameless. In the end, it's worth slogging through, but it will feel like work sometimes.
Essa história é legal, vale à pena sim ler! Tem algumas reviravoltas tensas e é interessante acompanhar a FL implementar o conhecimento dela do nosso mundo ao do da história, buscando independência financeira. Demora um pouco para ela e o ML entrarem em sintonia como casal, mas torcer faz parte do processo!
Só que de fato tive de fazer leitura dinâmica em algumas partes estendidas desnecessariamente em alguns capítulos, queria ler logo o que ia acontecer nabtrama principal mas a autora parava tudo pra contextualizar algum personagem...
It's hard for me to feel the chemistry between Killian and Julietta. Our prince is an overbearing, arrogant, playboy that falls under the "I've never had someone treat me or look at me that way" trope. Yes he does "get better" after confirming his love for Julietta...but even after finishing the novel he still didn't capture my interest much as a character. Then we have the backstory of Julietta regarding about her illegitimacy and theatre group that just seems so cluttered and too overcomplicated than it needs to be. The story drags on longer than it needs to be...I wouldn't recommend it
I think this story is nice. I'm looking forward to it since it had potential. Hoping for romantic scenes for both of them :) I'm not yet finish reading and still halfway so I will share my thoughts later.

Any male lead who can say in all seriousness, "I'm perfect, and my wife the Queen doesn't have to be perfect" is amazing. I love it when a character owns their arrogance.
