This novel starts off fine, gets really repetitive and sort of off putting almost around 2/5th part but the later parts are really well written. MC shows a lot of growth too! And even if the story is repetitive, the sheer ridiculousness of situation is good enough to make you laugh. You cannot compare it to the likes of reverend insanity, lord of the mysteries or the legendary mechanic. They are on a completely different level but it's a good one to read among many:)

Amazing read, gets repetitive but I took a break while reading it so I never felt it. No harem, and such a funny story at points. So incredibly long and for the ending to be so short feels a shame but still worth reading over a very long period.

Rating 7/10 Lots of repetition, and logical errors but I still wanted to read. Interesting motive of the teacher, and the way of cultivation.

Comedy and cultivation. The story is about transmigration inside the body of an almost fallen teacher of a cultivation academy. MC gets a Library inside his mind, like a passive skill, which gives him the power to store anything he has ever seen writen/any book he touches. At the same time, it "reads" any flaw a person haw in their martial arts, as well as the flaw of preciously mentioned books. It's quite the super power. The story in the beginning is interesting! Definitely. I really enjoyed the world building and the whole idea of this power. MC trying to figure out how to work it, and the reactions of others for his capabilities. Unfortunately, it's not a well written story beyond that. I was first disapointed when I realized that women don't have personalities. It's hard to write women characters well. The common flaw of many stories is always making dull-minded women with repetitive personalities. It's unfortunate. The MC doesn't seem to ever have a true challenge (?) with anyone "smart". Author is trying to show that MC is smart by doing this, but making everyone else be dull doesn't make your character smart. . . So the lack of personalities is evident. We keep seeing the same suprise-shock moments and the underestimating of others. I'm not too deep in the story yet, but I can tell the writing is repetitive and the personalities lacking. It's a story you can pass through when you want to relax, doesn't seem on the serious drama side. The comedy is alright, I do giggle with it, face-palm sometimes too. Ah, but, something I noticed recently. The problem solving of the MC's problems are too. . . Convinient. For example, not really a spoiler, there's this one chapter when for the first time ever, we learn about a new word, a whole new concept, and that same problem-realm he needs to reach is IMMEDIATELY solved ACCIDENTALLY (?) because a unexpected quest arrived and literally brought an item for this, unheard until now, new entire concept. It's ridiculous. Sure it helps with the plot, but you're being way too obvious with it, and it's not challenging in the slightest. All in all, I told myself I would give up on the story, but I find myself thinking back to it from time to time, and come continue it bit by bit. I think as a concept it's pretty nice, you could go back to it and read a bit as a refreshment honestly. There's also a manhwa, my father and I like to compare the two and make references to this story. It's not too bad, just not the serious type. I think it has potential for some readers who are looking for something easy to read! I think it's worth to at least know the concept of the beginning chapters, it's enjoyable. (similar story: My Divine Diary)

From this review two seems slightly harsh, I would say three, but maybe I will get it when I start reading.

Maybe three, you're right. It's not bad but it's also passable. But I do miss it sometimes, can't lie. Maybe a three would had been better indeed.. It's fun! Try it ^^

Honestly, I hate it. The mc is not hat clever at hiding his abilities, just running round in the libraries. He doesn't make good use of his abilities, through which he could've made millions of gold coins. The worst thing is that everything has a realm, including trust between teacher and student. The best comment on this that I found on this website was about mc taking a sh*t on his bed, that had a realm too. A passerby gets a smell of his sh*t and goes crazy. The explanation for the aphrodisiac breakthrough in the manhua was not given in a sensible way. MC: 3/10 worst mc ever World building: 6/10 not bad I'll take it though it can get confusing sometimes Abilities: chinese/10 (what did u expect)

diving straight to my honest business, as much as I've enjoyed this novel that I fall off the chair holding my aching stomach, the storyline is indeed repetitive for comfort. it's bearable but hitting the 1k mark made me impatient for a lot of things so I just skipped some chaps if I could already guess what would happen. and I'm telling you this because, IT GETS TIRING! Plus points though for it being too d*mn funny (or my happy meter is just so low by standard that I laugh every chap sigh). And, the face slapping scenarios never gets old no matter how cringe it is! But yes, the mc is too much of a hassle to understand. I want to bonk his head sometimes because of how stupid, dense, irrational, and annoying he gets because of certain things. And another yes to confirm your suspicion, he's OP. Plot armour thicc enough for us to hold onto. I love the plot though! Still I recommend it y'all. It's not the worse you can find and tbh, it's worth it for me. Why don't you try reading more than a hundred of chaps first then decide if it suits your taste? G'd luck man.

The mc is too dense which is very annoying. His power is too op and boring to read. He somehow always able to make his students stronger by some method. The plot Armor is clearly visible.

The novel offers readers an immersive dive into a world where the might of martial arts intertwines with the wisdom of teachers. The protagonist, Zhang Xuan, stands out not just for his combat prowess, but more intriguingly, for his unique ability - the Library of Heaven's Path. This ability, which allows him to discern flaws in almost anything, brings a refreshing twist to the traditional cultivation narrative. The story masterfully balances intense martial confrontations with moments of profound enlightenment, emphasizing the novel's core theme: the unparalleled value of knowledge and guidance. However, the novel is not without its shortcomings. While the world-building is intricate and the characters are well-developed, the story occasionally veers into repetitive arcs, which might test the patience of some readers. Yet, the blend of humor, action, and the novel's unique take on the importance of teaching makes it a standout in the genre. For those seeking a cultivation story with depth and a touch of comedy, the novel is a commendable choice.

I enjoyed reading this for the first few 40 chapters but it becomes a chore to read because he's pushing himself like a horse that's carrying his students with getting in return. That's not bad but the reasoning behind him helping them feels shallow.
