Zorian is a teenage mage of humble birth and slightly above-average skill, attending his third year of education at Cyoria’s magical academy.
He is a driven and irritable young man, consumed by a desire to ensure his own future and free himself of the influence of his family, whom he resents for favoring his brothers over him. Consequently, he has no time for pointless distractions or paying attention to other people’s problems.
As it happens, time is something he is about to get plenty of. On the eve of the Cyoria’s annual summer festival, he is killed and brought back to the beginning of the month, just before he was about to take a train to Cyoria.
Suddenly trapped in a time loop with no clear end or exit, Zorian will have to look both within and without to unravel the mystery before him. And he does have to unravel it, for the time loop hadn’t been made for his sake and dangers lurk everywhere…
Repetition is the mother of learning, but Zorian will have to first make sure he survives to try again — in a world of magic, even a time traveler isn’t safe from those who wish him ill.

Comments on the novel chapters for the last week.
"It would be a quick ride" they said. No it wasnt quick, not quick at all. But was it worth it? Oh definitely. Personally I really like the "time travel"-ish plot the author chose, while also making some things different. As he said in the after word, the story wasnt without a few mistakes and discrepancies, tho it was very enjoyable and fullfilling to read. Idk why the novel is placed so lowly on the rankings of the site. Personally, even though the novel was finished a few years ago it still deserves to be, atleast, in the top 50. If you're reading comments to find out whether to read the story or not, I would highly recommend it, if you have the time. The rating is a solid 8.25/10 , meaning very well written and enjoyable, thought not entirely perfect. Thank you for reading 🙏 Finished on 26.3.2024.
I came here after reading "Perfect Run", and honestly even compared to that it was still a pretty solid read. The MC although had some character developments he stayed the same skeptical and petty person (not in a bad way but holds grudge) he was which I found it realistic, cause he fixed some of his issues but then he's still fundamentally the same person. The world building was okay nothing crazy but it was way above most of the novels you would read here. The power system needed a bit work there was some early attempts (for example the scale of mana someone had or the efficiency of using it) but then it was never expanded. The plot was interesting and kept me engaged but the info dumps at the first half of novel was a bit exesiv so my advice is that keep pushing as after that the story gets pretty good. At the start of the story MC is pretty much a weakling but as the story progresses he gets more OP specially at the end and reading those parts was satisfying
Can anyone recommend me a novel similar to this one besides Perfect Run and Lotm?
Finished rereading and I coulda sworn there were some AU chapters here like the time loop in a time loop universe
I will admit, I was reading Shadow Slave which is what brought me here and I don’t regret reading it definitely recommend
Completed it. No words man, just wanna say it's a masterpiece with a really good ending, it's a bit selfish of me to say this but i wanted to know more, more like about 10 chapters about what happened in Zorian's life after the end. But let's be real here, that'd probably ruin the story.
How long is this actually? I want to start reading but i am afraid of it being too short. (P.S. I know that the chapter are very long)
I think I'ma reread this Still remember the major plot points but I wanna see the little details again
My next list to read after finishing the Midnight Inn
I see more people are getting to know this novel. This one was criminally underrated for a long time and still is on this site. Happy to know that more people are reading MoL and it's getting the attention it deserves 🙌
