Nah I think people would have spread at least some rumors about it the most I heard was that the author is facing financial problems and therefore can't keep writing. I heard this novel didn't get a lot of attention in Japan so the author wasn't able to make money out of it

Seriously... I've seen some cultivation novels adjusted to archaic kind of English. Means the translators took pains to translate and edit it to make it sound like a classic. God, I can be without the words, "heaven", "emperor", "shaking", "sundering", "heaven", "dantian", "heaven". What's with cultivation novels and heaven btw?

The heaven in cultivation novels refers to sentience universe.. In the novels you can think the entire universe as a living thing but restricted in every ways, like it can't influence anything directly, but can only alter paths of destiny or karma. Well, that is what I came to conclusion after skimming through lots of those novels.

Heaven is just lazy writing since the author can't write a good antagonist... Anything goes wrong for the mc blame heaven after all it is all powerful it doesn't need any planning to execute...(RI is not counted since that had some insanely good stuff with heaven; there might be few other novels I missed but if they follow the reasoning of RI then they also are excluded, do let me know what I missed)

honestly i dont think ive ever finished a cultivation novel... i dont even think ive ever even caught up to an unfinished one despite the amount that ive read, they are all so good for the first 50-100 chapters but then are boring after. when it comes to cultivation, ive read martial peak up to chapter ~3500 and martial world up to ~750, other than those id be lucky to pass chap 150 on a novel with 1k+ chapters. but i still love reading them

Try 'Against the Gods'. Its not your typical cultivation novels where mc sits for eons and meditates.. And there is 'almost' no repeatation of the plot. Mc is literal sc*mb*g and hypocrite.. Its fun to read.

i read against the gods, but only until that one point where is in that fire sect or something and robs them, i was busy with other novels so i dropped it, but this was like over a year ago so i was planning on dropping it again Edit: picking it up again, not dropping it

idk what chapter i got to when i stopped reading, if i had to take a guess it was prob around 60 but after that i eventually just randomly decided to read like one of the latest chapters and i was so confused xD. also i ended up spoiling myself a bit on that novel i think through the wiki if it has one? and learned the mc dies multiple times and restarts or something? too bad i dropped it before i got to that part since it sounds cool. i think one of the main reasons i dropped it because some other novels caught my eye, like the demonic emperor steward one, which i never finished, or maybe crazy levelling system, not sure. i also was reading emperor's domination at the same time as ATG so that also explains why i didnt really get close to finishing, but i might try again. Im currently reading authors pov but im about to get fully caught up so ill try ATG again probably
