The path of immortality is nigh unachievable.
Furthermore, the immortal world has been completely transformed by a plague!
When immortals contact infected mortals, their cultivation bases fall, or worse, they return to the heavens; thus, the immortal and mortal realms have been eternally separated.
Moreover, all immortal arts may only have one practitioner; thus, the world of immortality has become a dark forest.
…
Although Li Fan had grand ambitions when he first transmigrated to this world, he could only be trapped in mediocrity, slowly wasting away his mundane life.
Fortunately, as he was dying, he finally awakened a supreme treasure that could turn truth into lie and reality into dream, reversing time to when he first arrived!
Following this, Li Fan embarked on his endless path to immortality!
In his second life, Li Fan ascended through politics and ruled the world after 50 years, but after searching worldwide, he found no trace of the Immortal Dao. Only at the end of his life could he glimpse the immortal path.
In the third life, despite immense efforts and carefully laid schemes, Li Fan ultimately couldn’t resist a single strike of an immortal’s sword!
In the fourth life…
…
I, Li Fan, an ordinary mortal, will harbor no regrets throughout a thousand lifetimes, all for the pursuit of immortality!

Bro I didn't f*ck*ng notice if the translation was bad anywhere in the first 332 chapters. Am I cooked? Or is it the second TL that's bad? Edit: Oh yeah, it’s the second TL that’s bad, gets better after 50 chapters though.
I'm at chapter 220, the novel is starting to suck. The first 100 chapters were very good and innovative, but constantly relying on his treasure, not experiencing any losses, lack of side characters, and constant useless information make the novel boring. I don't think I can read any more. At first it had a RI vibe, but the author couldn't pull it off.
Gap between mortal and immortal is Too Big
Overall, one of the best Chinese novels. In Chinese novels, evil characters often wonder, "How can this happen?" they ask. They try to lengthen the novel with unnecessary dialogues in this style: This novel is completely story-oriented, sometimes very boring, but I like to explore the world slowly, like solving a puzzle.
Hm.
Terrible translation and writing quality so if you actually read then its terrible
I read it till chapter 28 and I wondered why I didn't like it and then I realised it. If you take for an example if Shadow Slave was a movie, it would be an action romcom movie and this novel would be a documentary, the MC is decribed like in a history book, there is no soul in it only facts
I don’t understand why I keep coming back to this novel. Parts of it are just so slow and useless and his cultivation are just so slow but some parts of this novel are just so cool. Yesss I’m talking about you qinq tang and you senior brother zhang qianqmo and even you heavenly doctor and you too Inkdeath. Oh and I won’t forget about you he zenghao the good luck charm. If only this novel had less filler
How is this cover so similar to "I Shall Be Everlasting In the World of Immortals"s cover
The setting is amazing, it's a refreshing world that's based on cultivation seen in other murim novels dying out and being replaced with a new system. I'd compare it with Kill the Sun with how the world feels like it's far weaker then in ancient times. However the story feels too much like horizontal progression for my tastes. Vertical progression: Make an enemy, train to beat enemy, big battle with enemy, win and repeat.
