    This is a one in a million type of book. From the worldbuilding to the character building, the plot and sub plots are amazing. Some people may call me an Overlord Stan but I don't really care, this novel and anime are forever my number 1.

    So many people asking where to continue, but, my only advice is that you start from the beginning. This novel is very well written, though the end feels like it was cut short. This is an amazingly good novel and if you start from in between you are missing a lot of sub-plots and some of them are really crucial to the story

      NO. Total there will be 18 volumes because Vol. 15 was so big it was made into Vol. 15 & 16 and there are 2 volumes left.

        LOTM and RI are the 2 best you can read. My house of horrors, release that witch, omniscient readers viewpoint, mushoku tensei, my senior brother is too steady, kidnapped dragons, shadow slave, second coming of gluttony, the experimental log of a crazy lich, a step into the past, city of sin, villain retirement, paragon of sin, the first order, apotheosis of a demon, I was caught up in a hero summoning, Mediterranean Hegemon of Ancient Greece, dungeon defence, mother of learning, are a few of what id consider top tier, honestly ive read so many that I'd have to go write a list to keep track, if you have any specific likes and dislikes I can reccomend some more.

      You better off reading from the start than anything. The seasons do not cover everything going on in the novel and I doubt they ever will in terms of missing characters, events, and even conspiracies. *Cough* Certain Hit Squad *Cough* Plus, NGL, Season 4 was pretty terrible. I don't know if it was animation or what, but it bored me to tears and I feel reading in novel was better than just watching anime.

      Season 4 ended off by covering volume 14… but it skipped volume 13. Volume 13 is gonna be covered in the upcoming movie, next year.
