I looked at City of Sin, but it's not my style. Have you read Super Gene? It's great. I also highly recommend Reincarnation Paradise. It's my number one novel, but the translation is bad. I read it on the Chinese website with Google Translate and it was great.

That's fair. I tried reading Super Gene a couple years back but i really didn't get far at all, probably no more than 30 chapters. Reincarnation Paradise synopsis looks really promising but bad translation can really ruin a book for me so I try and steer away if its clear from the beginning as it sucks when the translation slowly deteriorates, but Im too committed to quit at that point. LOTM will forever be my no #1. Ive yet to read the same book twice but when i do it will surely be that one. Also a good Chinese novel i loved is called Perfect World, so funny. thanks for the recommendation.

The tentacles are his strength and seem to have a consciousness of their own, but they need to be tamed a bit. The ridiculous thing is that sometimes when MC is about to die, his tentacles will give off a meaningless burst of power, saving MC's life.

Well using the fancy concept as an explanation is pretty impressive ngl. But, time is subjective. Then, my perception of you is subjective too.
