The bandits let out a loud cheer and launched the magic ballista. Accompanied by an intense and dazzling flash of lightning, another two to three meters-long lightning arrow hurtled outwards, going straight for the magic carpet!

“A magic carpet! Hehe!”

Lone Wolf, the leader, licked his lips with a hint of savagery in his lone eye. “Here’s hoping that the prey today doesn’t disappoint me!”

Upon seeing their leader suddenly fleeing for his life, the whole group of bandits looked bewildered. Why was their leader retreating when everything was fine and dandy?

“A bunch of good-for-nothings! Retreat at once!” bellowed Lone Wolf furiously.

It was only then that the bandits began to retreat.

However, it was too late!

All the Thunder Elements within a radius of several hundred meters swiftly converged and instantly formed 10 Thunder Pythons that were over 30 meters long. Their lightning scales shone and dazzled, and their massive bodies looked vivid and true to life. They floated in the sky, giving off an aura that made people’s hearts pound wildly in fear!

When Lone Wolf looked back and saw what had happened, he became even more horrified. He brandished a dagger and viciously stabbed the Horned Cloud-Striding Horse in its rump. The horse let out a shrill whinny and broke into a desperate dash in a dramatic burst of speed!

Lone Wolf was furious and filled with regrets. Magic carpets were low-grade flight tools that only Low-Level Magicians would use; High-Level Magicians completely turned their noses up at them. That was why he had dared to rob them of the magic carpet!

Never did he ever imagined that things would go completely out of his expectations!

Lone Wolf was so full of regret that he was beating his chest, but all he could do was to flee desperately for his life!

Meng Lei smiled calmly and snapped his fingers lightly. Thunder Elements converged and quietly formed a lightning lance!

With a soft command from Meng Lei, the three-meters-long lightning lance pierced through the air and shot lightning-quick toward Lone Wolf. It pierced right through Lone Wolf’s back and protruded from his chest!

Lone Wolf let out a terrible scream as the momentum threw him out. He fell into the bushes by the road, with no one knowing whether he was alive or dead!

Jonah, Joseph, and Andrew were dumbfounded from astonishment. They stared at Meng Lei’s back, their eyes full of bright and twinkling little stars!

“You guys can do it too if you cultivate well!”

Meng Lei smiled at them. Then, he steered the magic carpet down.

By the time he reached right in front of Lone Wolf, the vice-ridden bandit leader was already on the brink of death and on his last breath. It was evident that he wasn’t going to make it!

However, when he saw Meng Lei’s group of four standing on the magic carpet, his eyes widened big and round furiously, and disbelief filled his eyes. “A-all of you a… aren’t…”
