It's not only this novel but other novels always have this type of random dude popin outta f*kin nowhere and the guy has a lot of information that mc doesn't know and also mc doesn't know jacksh*t about the guy; and that dude toys with the mc and mc just can't do sh*t about him for a long time. Essentially just see it as what would happen if he continued in his old body than his younger one. It’s also meant to be a tie in to show just how much god’s domain affects realities and parallel realities. Bit of a call back to the beginning when everything slowly becomes an extension of god’s domain rather than regular martial arts. Also. Shi Feng becomes massively more powerful with less cheat codes sitting in his inventory than in the original story.

well it is not evident that who have created the game but until now it is still a game altho it it more like the supremacy game(if you have read that novel) it is certainly not a simple game and have been probably created by a higher existence since it literally exists in different universes that are not even in touch in real life and is used to get stronger(not super strong or godlike well not yet) altho in newer chapter it looks like the game is having effect in real life and the universe itself(not what you are thinking of), I'm not quite sure yet. well about legendry mechanic well in that one the game is not a game you are gonna get spoiled if i explain it all but the simple explanation is that the game itself is created by the super powers in that world to achieve sth altho the people responsible dont have any memory of it in that timeline for some reason that im not gonna spoil for you

Well not to ruin your mood but I think that it will not happen because the aim of the people is to live as long as possible and considering that in the last around 3000 Chps there hadn’t been a single romance scene I don’t think there will be any romance in the upcoming chapters also
