I read the manhwa before. It was really bad. Is the novel worth reading?

Ohhhh boy, I click in this novel and now is see is a corean nivel, with... Tower and floors... The hero return and ranker who lived twice are basically the same novel... :/ . Could someone confirm for me if this novel is better than those 2? Because I didn't even finish reading it the first time and the second one was a big disappointment... (Personally)

I haven't read the novels that you speak of so I cannot say anything about that. But if your main concern is the towers, floors, etc, there is actually a deep reason why the floors where created. If you happen to know the manhwa, "The Player Who Can't Level Up" you may somehow understood where this is going. But this one is also focused on the life of a regressor so it somehow gives the same 'regression depression' vibes as with Joonghyuk or Shin Yoosung from Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, or with Thesilid from The Perks of Being an S-Class Heroine (a.k.a.Transmigrator's Privilege) and the moral lessons you can feel with Gongja from SSS-Class Suicide Hunter. It may be confusing at first about the nuisances they experience on some floors but as you go read about the higher floors, especially the 8th & 9th flr (which I recommend) everything will make sense.

This was a very entertaining novel. Near perfection, only complaint I would have is that the translation got very poor about halfway through but then it returned like nothing happened after like 100 something chapters. This novel has humor, great characters, and the plot was good. 9/10, you won't regret reading it.

Is the 5th floor saga worth reading? I don't like the topic of cyborgs.

I have somehow felt the same but I can say the end of the battle there is still good, especially the benefit he and the players will get from there. Even though the theme is city of cyborgs, the main focus there is murim / martial arts. And it really give the mc what he needed the most when he was given an advise to find his style of swordsplay that he will use. Even though he is strong, what makes the strongest knight in Frontier remarkable? If you remember his fight with the knights of Nifleim, even though he tried to learn each of their style (or rather how they use their aura uniquely), Junho has to learn his own as well. I can say that reading that part is also worthwhile if you will consider what the mc will learn from every floors.

U dropped it ? U read the hero returns and ranker who lived twice? Those are corean novels with a tower... Basically the same novel, big disappointment for me, same gods, same pantheons, stats were basically useless etc. Does this novel have those characteristics too? Is better ?

I don’t think I’ve actually read those two- this novel is more just character based I think?

I cant finish this, dropped 100 chaps before the end. The story is great and all and i would appreciate if someone would spoiler me the ending. The main issues are that It fails to deliver regarding certain 4 characters, too much hype was put torwarda them just for them to be random secondary characters. The main villain Is also a bit lame he seems to lack basic intelligence and plannin, a bit umbecoming of someone associated with ******. Romance is actually creepy if its headed torwards the cover of the book(look up grooming). For me its a 6.5/10, rated above average because i like the settings, the powers, and the thunder guy.

All I can say is, if you haven't read about the 8th & 9th floors, you will miss the main reason why even all of those are happening and why the floors are built. It will really be hard to accept nor understand why the MC is getting this much "perks" or benefits from the tower but all the answers are in those two floors. And for me, when I learned about it, I cried because it was beautiful. And I even think that the main character for a moment there is Frost more than Junho (≧▽≦) but I can say reading it to the end will actually answer your questions here and it is worth it.

At the 8th flr he will know about Frost's lost memories. And the 9th will reveal what happened to the other 'versions' of Junhos that failed the quest--the reason why the floors were built is to defeat the 'Duke'- the demon who was created from a transcendent (king of Eon empire). You may have seen about Junho's regression from the past few chapters (around 4th flr and so on) but the one who really have been regressing and repeating all these for thousands of years is also Frost. In fact, without Frost all of his efforts is still nothing. So if you're worried about the possibility of grooming, maybe you'll change your mind once you see about Frost's past and what will they do after defeating the main villain. In fact, there is not much romance there. The floors were built by Chaos, in response to Frost's request because the evil that was born cannot be destroyed w/ his intervention. And Junho was ideally chosen by Frost for this to succeed.

If what bothers you is about the other 4 heroes: Rahmadat will have an awakening that will allow him to surpass the limit of a person's capacity to handle their 100% power after receiving the teaching from warewolf chief. Skaya will become the conquerer or master of the tower since she is the only one who was able to learn and use the ancient magic that no other mage was able to do. Gilberto acquired a skill (also more like a rebirth for him like Rahmadat) that will let him absorb and control 'ether' which is the main source of power in 7th flr. And Mio will be able to master the sword technique that is only passed down to the male heir of their family (combine it with her own style). She become the Sword Empress (if what I remember is the right term). There will be some moments about the other players' growth like shin sungyun, gong juha and the sword saint. Only Rahmadat & Skaya were the only ones though to reach Star Destruction stage after Junho became a Transcendent.

Oh, you don't have to do that much (≧▽≦) but I somehow really find this novel worthwhile to read. Maybe I just want other people to laugh, cry and be happy, worried and scared for the characters here, too 😂 If you ever find it somehow hard to continue it is alright to take a break for your heart and mind sometimes (although it might not be as heavy as ORV, The World after the Fall or Author's pov(?? I am about to read that one yet)) but this one made me cry on chapters even after reading it like with sss-class suicide hunter 🥲ຶ I just can say that when I continued reading this until the end I felt glad I did :D

i read ranked who lives twice. this is way better, its not generic at all and the system is just an addon it stops to matter really soon. whats better in particular is that ranker who lives twice is just very generic plot with a very generic mc and nonexistent secondary characters , here the author tries to give soul to characters(tries). regarding tower novels maybe this one is just a few notches below "the world after the fall" and slightly worse than suicide hunter or ss suicide or whatever was the name lol

A wonderful and fulfilling read that I rate as one of the best light novels I've had the pleasure of reading. A very interesting way to explore the concept of "floors" and skills, and I highly suggest reading it!

Yes, it is basically the same style, but the difference between them and this novel is that it is more consistent and readable. Unfortunately, there are no good dungeon novels on this site and this is the best I have, I don't know if there are other gems.
