When Su Qin said this, the expression of the Monk changed drastically. He looked at Su Qin in disbelief. He didn’t expect Su Qin to see through his true identity.

It’s already been 900 years and his strength had long fused together with the seal. Hence he can freely switch from between being a ‘Buddhist’ to a ‘Demon’. Unless the real Arhat Pao is resurrected, no one should be able to tell who he is.

“How did you know?”

A Demonic glint flashed in the pupils of the ‘Monk’.

“How do I know?” Su Qin did not answer.

Under the [Eyes of Truth]’s observation, Su Qin had long discovered that the aura of this ‘Monk’ originates from the trace of Demonic Energy that’s been lingering in the area.

A Grade 1 Great Grandmaster can cultivate Divinity and a peak Grade 1 can condense a Divine Sense, while an Arhat can use his Divine Sense to form a Nascent Soul.

Even if the body is destroyed, with a Nascent Soul, an Arhat level of existence will not die immediately. But since the body is lost, it is equivalent to becoming rootless and one will not last long, just like a rootless flower.

The Demon Buddha attached his Nascent Soul to the Back Mountain, hence he has survived to this day. Even so, just like the body decaying, the Nascent Soul will also decay, just that it will be a bit slower than the body.

Besides, without his body, the Demon Buddha might not be able to exert an Arhat level of battle strength.

The Demon Buddha did not worry about Su Qin too much. After all, even though he does not have a body right now, for a mere Grade 1, he can just rely on his Nascent Soul.

Even if this Grade 1 Great Grandmaster has condensed Divine Sense and has a transformed body, it was far from enough from defeating him.

The reason why Demon Buddha didn’t do anything outside was simply because the seal was still suppressing him and he could not extend his power beyond the Back Mountain; or the farther away he is, the lesser power he could use.

The Demon Buddha sneered at Su Qin.

The reason why he said this, was because he was worried about accidentally injuring the body.

“Oh really?”

“Are you sure you can beat me?” Su Qin asked.

“And what, win… You?”

Demon Buddha disdainfully smiled: “Although I have been unable to completely break the seal, I have already torn an opening in the seal.”

“Although a small opening in the seal can’t fully get me out, the power I can use is more than enough to kill you!”

Actually, Demon Buddha was saying the truth. Although he doesn’t have a body, and can’t display his real battle strength, his power was still far beyond Grade 1.

“Since you won’t hand over your body obediently, I can only get it myself.”

Demon Buddha finally lost his patience. His expression turned cold, raised his right hand and struck towards Su Qin.

The Demonic Domain fluctuated and countless Demonic Energy converged to form a big hand that moved towards Su Qin.

Under this huge hand, an ordinary Grade 1 Great Grandmaster wouldn’t be able to move. You can only close your eyes and await for death.

The Demon Buddha looked at Su Qin coldly, as if he’s looking at a dead person.

The giant palm made from the Demonic Energy collapsed instantly, and the Demonic Domain also collapsed, replaced by Buddha’s radiance that illuminated everything.

“This, this, this is…”

The Demon Buddha, who was sure he was guaranteed to win, looked as if he was struck by lightning. He looked towards the vast, infinitely spreading radiance, and the Golden Buddha in the center. He exclaimed in a very desperate tone: “Buddha’s Intent!”
