    Super gene needs a prequel. The author left us on a cliff hanger and it leaves a bit to interpretation. Is 6th sanctuary real? We’ll never know 😭

    Long have I debated this, back and forth my mind wandered. Read, don't read, back and forth the pendulum swung. Now I sit here, anticipation and trepidation having sharpened my focus. What will this newest adventure bring? Shall I find despair, joy, salvation, destruction? The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. With this, I have begun my newest journey.

        I'm still fairly early in, but the start seems promising. If you would like a different recommendation, I'm almost finished with Lord of the Mysteries and it has been one of the best reads I've ever had. I'm also stacking for Shadow Slave at the moment, and I'm determined to wait until New Year before picking it back up.

        I've also finished reading Lord of the Mysteries and it is indeed the best novel i've read. Im currently reading Super Supportive which is also really good but it's not on this site.

        If you’ve already read LoTM, then I would suggest The Legendary Mechanic. The power system is well written, the main character is intelligent, the fights are good, the story makes sense, and pretty much everything gets explained in the end. Downsides, there are a few instances where the main character gets a bit lucky, and some side characters don’t see as much development as they could have had. Overall though, I would highly recommend it.

        Does The Legendary Mechanic have a strong mecha aspect to it? I don't enjoy mecha in general, so that's the only thing that makes me hesitate.

    The concept is so good and sometimes it's so hype but this being Chinese and all the sh*tty stuff you would get from those stories is the only downside. My recommendation would be to get another series to tire your mind and hop to this one and read 30-50 max a day otherwise it might get heavy on your body.

      Tbh yes and no. Yes cause some days it will be super fun and no because there are some dry patches of just bad writing. If you're fine with that like me then sure, but if not, then no.

      See I actually disagree as this book actually has some quite profound moments and can actually be quite smart. It is just that sometimes the author checks out and writes on autopilot.

    When this book is at its best, it is probably one of the best on the site. The problem is that it often fails to reach the heights that it should and easily can. But at the end of the day, I read it for a reason, it is mad entertaining.

    Based on what I got from the comments. The novel has a low rating because the quality is horrendous: Too many plot holes, bad writing, etc. Yet so many enjoy it by turning off their brain and just read.
