    Read about 250ish chapters and it’s a bit of a mixed bag, I’ll try and keep this spoiler free. . Pros: World building: good, nothing special but creative and fun. Story and premise: very good, the warriors against mages who rule the world works well and is entertaining. Characters: every one feels unique and like real people, the main character is flawed but still likable. Mc is unique in that they have mental issues pretty often and also no real romance. Cons: Pacing: the story will go over a week in Mcs life in excruciating detail then skip 8 months like it’s nothing. Just generally no in between for events, or just random small things. I don’t think I have read a single thing about Mcs food for 200 chapters. Fights: the fights honestly kinda feel like there turn-based, it’s just Mc fights this person, with this advantage, they have this advantage, Mc uses these tools to get in close, enemy reacts by using projectiles, Mc dodges them, and closes gap. Basically all fights go like this

      Read more 200-300 was the most boring part of the novel.Sh*t starts to pick up at 300 and the character development in the next 250 chapters 300-550 is crazy.Fights are not even the main reason I love this novel and yeah Warma really does't focus on filler and the number of times Shang had smiled in the novel would be max 5 in the whole entire novel(even that was in the first half and after second half(550) it was pure depression,bro did not catch a break 😭😭.Pacing I did not have any problems with it but the pacing will remain the same and become even faster during the latter chapters.

      Warmaisach woke up and after leaving us half disappointed in LITOW by killing most major characters he decided to double down and create this abomination of a novel which i love more than any other cultivation novel by far, but even then if not for LITOW to blow off my steam i mightve gone insane from the depression this novel gave me, long live gravis, rest in depression mortis

      Lightning is the only way then Swors god in a world of magic after that is his latest work Kill the sun but it's not revealed whether Kill The Sun is connected to the previous two novels

      How the hell was it spent well when it was spent in anxiety, ptsd, and fear of Shang and his deprived and extreme mind😨😨 I really hated ending and felt really bad for my man alex..mans still taking help from psycatrist and hasn't yet recovered. F*ck you Shang and even though you are badass villian hope you get killed somehow while traveling in the universe
