I got bored when mc was 15 meters
I've read through this a while back and the story is pretty good but it gets boring near the end and the ending is kinda rushed
around the space part it gets boring and the ending is confusing and rushed, it's still a pretty good one.
Tbh, writing this novel makes me think that the author did this partly for motivation to learn about the jungles, since hell it seems well researched.
It's a good novel to pass the time. It's a good novel with a lot of movie references but you have to go through the initial boring parts of hunting in jungle. The novel has references to Pacific Rim, Jurassic Park, Godzilla, King Kong and Popular Conspiracies.

Yeah this is a pretty good story if you don't really feel like caring too much about everything. Big things happen, MC solves them while not being exactly the "good guy", but more of being on his side + whoever he's cool with. The end is abrupt, but it's still fine considering there wasn't really that much built up other than what would've amounted to about a few chapters more of getting over something or whatever. Also, don't get tricked by the end chapter name "History repeats itself". It probably isn't what you think. Still disappointed big spider dude didn't amount to much though...
I got a little to attached to Xiao ma (The squirrel). After the chapter "Xiao ma appears" I got dissatisfied because fang Yun didn't meet Xiao ma directly and merely showing Xiao ma condition... Will fang Yun meet Xiao ma again???
