How do other witchers increase their stats? Do they just train or they also take a second decoction of the same school? Cause all of the witchers we have seen have higher stats than Roy.

the tags say „beautiful female lead“ and „power couple“. So there is a romantic subplot in this one?

There seem to be parts missing of many chapters, it's making it difficult to follow the story, loving the parts I can see though.

What's the power level of the The Witcher universe? Is it like people blowing mountains or just killing scary monsters? Nvm I have read the wiki, seems interesting, though mages seem quite stronger at least from what the wiki said.

Witcher universe has a lot of things with seemingly freakish power levels and out of the norm strengths. If you haven't already, go check up on probably my favorite villain in the series, Vilgefortz. Spoilers for Witcher books Vilgefortz is a sorcerer, who at first seems like another regular guy with magical powers, so when Geralt fights him, everyone expected him to beat Vilgefortz up in seconds... What actually happened was Geralt getting curb stomped by Vilgefortz using an iron stick. Gods in Witcher universe is also a lot more involved than most people that only played the games know. Some have avatars, some just appear in peoples dreams etc. But we can't even guess most of their power levels, expect Gaunter O Dimm.

I know nothing about the Witcher series but still enjoyed this, if there’s something that you absolutely don’t understand just look it up in the Witcher wiki

where do you rate witchers netflix series compared to this fanfiction? I have heard very bad reviews about the series.

as someone who just finished the latest chapter of the novel and the netflix series they each have their strong points with the netflix series they tell of the original story of the witcher from the original book which makes it a more concrete and intricate story as it tells of the the whole workings of the world from politics to the truth of the world and it presents the world of the witcher for how grim it is but as it only has little air time it doesn't delve into it but i like this novel better just because it explores the full potental of the witcher wrold as a whole like imagine if there was a single all powerful witcher who is a master of all witcher schools the idea alone is intriguing and the story is well written with alot of side characters and stories written right and the world is explored in more detail and the novel really delves extensively into how grim and dark the witcher world is which is a synonym for the real world tbh

It's been awhile since I've read this due to slow updates, same with the movie. But, from what I can remember this novel was for passing the time, since I've read nearly all the good system novels on here. From what I remember the translation wasn't the worst, story was decent although compared to the Netflix show its sort of lacking but that's just because the Netflix show had a base and more writers. Their is little to no romance from what I remember compared to the Netflix show. Also, it follows a different path from the Netflix show as this one follows a group of different witchers. The Mc has slow and steady growth, it didnt feel to rushed where he's OP in the first 50 chapters. Overall, I'd say it's below the first season of the Netflix show as it was great. But similar in tier to the second since it was meh. I'd rate the novel about a 6 or 7. It's a good read for passing the time and personally It's added to my favourites since I enjoyed it. Spoiler tag just incase.

So does he meet any of the "main" cast like Triss, Yen, Geralt whatever the more "known" people and if he does, does it impact the original story or nah?
