The Failed Swordsman Who Became the Strongest After Spamming the 100 Million Years Button novel is a popular light novel covering Action, Adventure, and Fantasy genres. Written by the Author Shuichi Tsukishima. 269 chapters have been translated and translations of other chapters are in progress.

There was a mysterious old man who approached the failed swordsman with the “100 million years button”. A magic button which can achieve the same effect as training for 100 million years if you push it.

The failed swordsman who pushed the button had his doubts, but immediately felt tremendous power rising in his body. So he pushed the button many times.

However it was a cursed button. The moment it was pushed, he was confined to the 100 million years prison of time. The first 100 years were devoted solely to training. After 1000 years he had forgotten why he swung his sword. He stopped thinking completely after 10,000 years had passed. After 100 million years he became crippled and finally managed to return to the real world. At the same time losing all his memories from the past 100 million years, the only thing that remained were his sword techniques. “I can become stronger just by pressing the button!” or so he thought and pushed the button many times after that. Foolishly trapping himself in that 100 million years of hell each time.

As he continued this loop, he began to think “If I destroy this world, will I get out of here?” A few billion years later, he finally escaped from the loop.

This is the story of a failed swordsman trying to make a name for himself in the world.

not a bad novel, but they fit in a lot of cliched events and move way too fast and suddenly for certain parts there is also many elements very very very similar to Chivalry of a Failed Knight.

Chapter 27.2 is missing half the chapter

Its quite interesting, but it seems the author cant decide what kind of novel they want it to be and they frequently change what direction the stroy goes in.

Right so I read it until 3.2 so this review cant be taken really seriously.
Good notes: hmmm premise of the story is nice
Bad notes:with how op the main character is it's most likely going be a short lived excitement wh ok knows if there will be any struggle or etc.
Another bad note is the way they do conversations they dont use " " a bracket like thing which just bothers me idk it may be just a me thing.

The story starts kinda nice and gets you to want for more but to be honest , first fight and I understand that the MC is of those who are mentally challenged . Even with the memories of hte 100 Million years of training , he still doubts himself so much . I get that he was not sure if what happened during all those years have been true or not but still , after fighting with opponents , it should be able make him understand that it was true . He on the other hand thinks that everyone is just looking down on him and that is the reason why they are attacking him in slow motion etc. I just can't get myself to read a novel where the Mc is not that bright cause I find it boring and annoying
