The nuclear holocaust which caused the collapse of the Old Times on Earth should have wiped out all human life on the planet. Yes, the gods set up their beautiful Elysiums to provide sanctuaries for their chosen, but by all rights everyone outside the elysian lands should’ve perished long ago. Yet somehow, human life still managed to persist, even in the deadly, mutant-infested wastelands.
Cloudhawk was a young scavenger who dreamed of being as free as the hawks in the skies, yet seemed destined to live out his life scrounging for scraps in the wasteland ruins. Fate, however, is ever-fickle. A chance meeting with a ragtag group of mercenaries changed the trajectory of his life, bringing him into a world with mutants and metahumans, demonhunters and godslayers, and even gods and demons. Cloudhawk would find his own place in a world that was far greater than he had imagined, find his own path between the zealous light of Sumeru and the whispering darkness of the Abyss… and one day, he would find that even gods may fall.

I wish I could slap this mc to death
I am currently in Book 5 chapter 69 and throughout the whole novel the MC is a dim-bulb m*r*n who is manipulated and used by others. He gets manipulated very easily and doesn't spend a single minute thinking through his actions. Does he remain the same through out the whole novel? If so then f*ck this sh*t man.
It looks interesting, I'll start with it
This novel is one of the best on this site, comparable to legends such as SS and LotM. The worldbuilding is top notch, and the action scenes are to die for, they are extremely vivid and gory, so be warned! For the first two hundred or so chapters, the mc is somewhat naïve and edgy, typical for a fifteen/sixteen year old irl. The power system is somewhat complex, as there is no actual system, in essence, power is unlocked through life or death situations. The novel is set in a post-apocalyptic world so be prepared for some dark fantasy elements. Other than that, I couldn't recommend this novel more, it is one of the best on this site!
If you compare this novel with known novels, which novels would it be similar to?Mc's personality, world structure, side characters, depth etc.
I read this book to completion and I can definitely say it's a worthy read. The ending made me sigh though. Made me wanna see a sequel. Sigh. Good times.
Well~, 5 star rating... with just two review...
There should be at least 4 Naive Protagonist tag to quantify the b*llsh*t the MC does
This is kinda like The First Order, but not as good.
100+ chs, The people just seem to get stronger somehow, there's no power system here
