Honestly. Kingdom building 2/5. Harem 5/5 ( i hâte that), World 2/5. Chinese country 5/5. If you want read for some fun go it. But be ready to cut your brain. 😅

One of the best kingdom building novels if not the best. the only things that are bad about it that because in the first 1400 chapters it focuses on the kingdom building, then it changes focus to cultivation and kingdom building so it felt forced and the fact past chapter 800 the author made this a hentai, but it still is a very good novel that I have read multiple times

The novel has an intriguing opening with the concept of utilizing the mother's or father's family lineage, I forget which, to get revenge on the family of the mother or father who pressed them. But it is only when they begin to reach the other dimension that he is worthy of the title of OP, with a kingdom that has the strongest weaponry, generals, buildings, and officials, to the point where all other countries are ready to be smashed for their ultimate talent as the main character.

Alright, hear me out. . . This novel sucks. However, even though it sucks, it's one of my favorite novels, to the point it's better than some good novels. Why? I don't really know either. The MC is as inconsistent as it gets, character development sucks, the plot is +-, power system is lackluster, combat is ok only in big wars. . . There's nothing this novel does well except for the uniqueness of the world setting, but even there it ends up failing. Mixing cultivation with a war setting is not easy, and the author almost did it, but he left behind way too many holes — he himself admits this later on in a 2k chapters note. The empire and army building with a cultivation system is something I always wanted in a novel so I guess that's what makes it one of my favorite novels, even though it sucks. Anyway, just don't expect a masterpiece. If you read it solely for the setting like me then it can be fun.

Reading this because interested in Isekai, and Kingdom building tag. However, it's ironic that the real world is more interesting to me in the novel. The empire building is not really as good as a few novels I read. Regardless, this is still a good read, although I glance thru lots of solo adventures and heavenly fights because finding it rather dull. The massive battles between big armies are also not very descriptive. Not much tactics. The best I like about this novel, is the usual unfortunate poor MC from a lower background, beating the ugly rich and influential people which are usually evil, selfish or hypocrites. Giving a sense of satisfaction. Out of topic: The big minus point i hate about SOME Chinese Novels, is Gods and deities. Don't confuse that with Kungfu and Magic. Kungfu to fight and to dodge bullet is fine. Magic and cast fireballs etc. All fine. Just cannot stand Gods and deities 'superman'. Example, enemy gathered up 2 billion soldiers. Yes, there's this much soldiers in the novel and really too much. Anyway, the MC's 500 million soldiers is outnumbered and having a problem. He thought of a brillant idea and used special crystals created from God's whatever magic, and devil's whatever blood for example, and killed the 2 billion soldiers one shot with few millions escaped. This is why i hate Gods and Deities novels.

Idea was great but the execution was borderline retarded. First 500-600 chapters are solid and make for a pretty good story. I’m a major fan of kingdom building books, so my review is a little bias

It’s a good read for those in between days but the plot, character progression, and descriptions are pretty bland. However, the world building is solid and keeps the story pretty fast paced. Some arcs drag on a bit but that can be ignored. Also, the nationalism is strong but easily ignorable as well. Mostly just spouting of building a monarchy instead of democracy, nothing crazy

Extremely bland, it has barely any world building, zero character development, world holds no depth and the characters that fill it are bland that know only how to display basic emotions.

Damn I drop this novel after 700 or so chapter because it's very nationalistic and there are no character development beside the MC . The other problem iin this novel is that the Mc raped almost all the women in his harem. But I enjoyed the first couple hundred chapters.

Okk... if I just consider story... it's some fresh idea for me( like receiving legacy of past and playing emperor emperor)... well it's ok story...mc receive Qin legacy and develop it to become nations legacy... yap author did good job in blowing horn of his countries history..lol... but problem with this type of novel is time lines of various history didn't explained properly... author can make legacy of any strong king... ..like.. Alexander the great or Chandragupta morya or Chengez Khan or any Fero of Egypt... or famous rulers of Persia and Arabia... or ruler of Japan... so on... author didn't explained the proper time lines of legacies... if he wants to make a good novel he should have explained the time of legacies to make it easier for people to understand... cause there were just too many ambitious rulers in past with cruel actions...

Dude, the author just wants to kiss China's ass, do you really think he's going to pay attention to other legacies? that's the bad thing about nationalism, this myopic view that just because you're from a country all the others they're just scum that don't deserve to be mentioned.
