“Rurutia, you won’t be able to live past twenty.”

The black mineral was a symbol of good luck. There were a lot of people who coveted it.

”I’m sure you’ve thought of something nice, but the cost of raw materials is high. There’s only one mine where black crystals are mined!”

Brucke’s vassals looked at each other.

There were also several nobles who thought they had a nose for business and eventually went bankrupt.

Everyone was excited about the success, but only one man didn’t laugh.

It was Gust, a young heir to the Espeda family, one of Brucke’s vassals.

The empire’s only black crystal mine was owned by another family. If rumors spread that the Brucke’s family was going to start a business, the price of the gemstone might steadily increase ten or twenty-fold their normal asking price.
