Summary

On just another normal Monday, the world changed. The universe had reached a threshold humanity didn’t even know existed, and it was time to finally be integrated into the vast multiverse. A world where power is the only thing that one can truly rely on.

Jake, a seemingly average office worker, finds himself thrust into this new world. Into a tutorial filled with dangers and opportunities. In a world that should breed fear and concern, an environment that makes his fellow coworkers falter, Jake instead finds himself thriving.

Perhaps… Jake was born for this kind of world, to begin with.

Because the godly being that has been supporting the MC is a massive edge lord.

I've read the Manhua until chapter 20! Where do you start reading the novel?

Novel is cool, but man if the author love to make even a mundane fight 2 episodes long. Just for the record, they are well written and that is the problem. They too well written, imagine if 2 episodes of an epic and awesome fight, and the end you realize that it was just a mob fight. Well, like that, this will be an awesome weebtoon. Gonna wait the nevermore arc before caugh on.

Just out curiosity, what William could have done that you'd consider bad? Like in my opinion killing your own brother sounds like a life sentence. Genocide that he did in the tutorial doesn't sound like normal human being behaviour as well. So yeah, that's interesting

He's not. He actually has a better character arc than the MC

Well I expected great action or diverse skills and fights and great world building with great mc like legendary mechanic but this novel seems to focus more on characters but honestly I don't enjoy them much may be because I only read 100 ch but I feel like it will be like this in whole novel. Guess it's not my cup of tea or may be I am suffering from post ri trauma. Currently reading lotm almost till 50 chs, let's see if this is master peice like other readers say as currently world building is going on

I never actually read the LN version of this, instead I've read the books on Kindle Unlimited. However... I would definitely not say the story is character driven (besides the MC). The beginning is a lot more character driven because it's trying to introduce the new world. Just letting you know... almost everyone dies. You definitely jumped the gun abandoning it. The first book can just be a bit slow. It's doing all the initial character development, setting, etc. It starts focusing more and more on the main character's progression. Right now it's just developing him. He goes through a lot of mental changes in the first book. As anyone would. If this happened to any of us in real life we'd all freak out too. If we survived we'd be a different person... a harder person.

Well if thats the case then I will definitely try reading it after finishing volume 1 of lotm. I will at least try to read 250 chs of primal hunter before deciding to drop it. By the way can you tell me better aspects of this novel

Hmm, I don't want to spoil too much. Your main issue seemed to be there was too many characters. That's not going to be an issue. The story is mainly told from the perspective of the main character. Sometimes it'll jump to another character but that's just a short segment. You're just currently in the early stages and the author is using this tutorial as character development for the MC. The MC is going to harden his mind. He's going to learn he's not meant to be a pack animal. He's meant to be a solitary Apex predator. The story is primarily going to be a ton of monster hunting and alchemy. Oh yeah... he's going to be bestowed crazy Alchemy abilities by a God. A snarky, comedic god. He learns to revel in battle. He learns to love crafting. The most enjoyable parts of the story is seeing how the MC thinks and addresses problems. He has high mental adaptability. Throw in an interesting system and we have a hardcore grinder. You just have to get past the initial character development.

Overall fun read. Personally find the pacing fine but this is coming from someone used to reading novels with tons of chapters, so I can understand if people complain about pacing. However, I still highly recommend the series as it shines in its characters and interactions. The "spirit" of this novel is where it shines and I think a lot of readers will enjoy Jake and his interactions with others.

If these basement cretins took their eyes off pirated sites and “is primal hunter good?” 2 minute google searches with the same span as their weak *ss fapping stamina and actually READ the f*ck*ng book! Or go and read the actual reviews they’d realize the book is actually good! G3 and the author of lotm have thoroughly raised my perception of what a five star novel is so i’d put this at 4 stars, its good, freakishly good plot building even but not just shadow slave good. Why the hate? Why the mass 1 stars? For what? Cheap *ss cultivation novel readers with budget phones and 200mb to spare🙂*spits* P.s admin do not delete no external sites or links are in this comment 🫠this information is important because people are purposefully degrading this book without even reading it even though it should be your job to spot fake reviews😒

You do realize that this is a pirated version of the light novel and is more likely detrimental as opposed to beneficial to the author? It's not even good marketing because there's no involvement from the actual author and they don't bother to provide links or anything for the author. If you really wanted to support the story you'd read the actual books. I may try out the Legendary Mechanic story though. I tried reading the manga version... but it was kind of horrible. But they just released a Primal Hunter manga version and it's incredibly awful too. So now I'm thinking maybe the LN/book version could be good. My only issue is a lot of people also say Shadow Slave is fantastic... and it seemed fairly mediocre to me. Hard to tell what recommendations are realistic... so many people are brain rotted these days.

Because this novel is wasting its potential. It's a slog to read this because there are no stakes to whatever and what we do have is mc dying in a fight which we know won't happen. It's world building is where it shines but the story only focus only Jake and his fights. It would be quite good if it focused more on the world rather than Jake. Jake even became the generic Korean style MC. The earlier more beastly Jake was what made Jake interesting.
