The Reincarnated Assassin is a Genius Swordsman

I remember reading this and wondering how was it in the top 10. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad novel and it's pretty consistent but it doesn't do anything crazy. The themes, the plot, the characters, the world building and even the comedy are all simple. The mc is your average op, hardworking and good looking mc. However despite all of that the author this novel does what it needs to do. It's simple, yet consistent and enjoyable story that doesn't try to be something different. 3. 5/5

It is pretty good. everything is what you would expect from this type of story. It is pretty satisfying and very entertaining even with all the cliche's. The cliche's are written perfectly

A decent cliche novel when I cliche I meant cliche to the boot. . . It has everything that you expect from a Regressor revenge noble fantasy manhwa, But but the biggest pro of this novel is that Everything is executed perfectly and author able to add thrills to a scenario you already know. . . And biggest con being repition of enemy to rival troupe like they did this sh*t 4 times, overall nice read not the best not the worst

It's a reincarnation troupe but with it's own elements. The characters are written in a good way where we can see their tendencies with ease but I'll have to confess it's a bit cliche. Tho the personal developments of the characters is remarkable, the story becomes predictable after a certain point. That's not to take away anything from enjoyable of a read it is. It is relaxing and fun to read and it makes you look forward to the next power up. Overall a good book to read.

This is a very good book. It would be very nice if new chapters came out soon. Its a very cliche book but the concept is very good. I would say this is a very finger licking good book.

Wow why is this so highly rated? Am I just too old to get it? The story isn't anything original with the supremely talented MC being reincarnated into an unlucky (but of course very talented) son of a very powerful family where he'll get all the right opportunities in his path to OPness. I have nothing against this intro but the writing style is just very very basic, boring and obnoxious. First the idea of an enemy living rent free in the MC's head and shouting stupid stuff over and over got old very fast after 30 chapters of the same. Then we have the MC who is the most talented, handsome, mature, hardworking, motivated, superlative after superlative and the author wants you to know it he REALLY needs you to know it. so he makes sure the tsundere grandpa, the trainer, the uncle, the maid and even (if he had one) the flipping dog, tell you about it and of course praise him for half the chapter. Another thing is the characters and their interactions and how it impacts the plot if you can even call it that. I mean you have the MC being underestimated, then showing one of the superlatives above, being praised as said superlative by all the flipping bystanders and their moms, the "opponent" not believing the one they underestimated can match them so they use the weird and boring martial art (to me at least) to fight and of course get defeated. Rinse and repeat. With of course the freeloader making dumb and edgy comments through all that.

A very fun read and the below are the main points that I liked: - MC with amazing character development - Great side characters with their own character development - Some really great and intense fights, though there are instances of deus ex machina - Wholesome moments - The comedy is top tier. It starts out ok in that department but as his relationships grow, the comedy becomes better and better - MC does not focus on his own growth but helps his friends grow alongside him, which is a major part of the novel - The story is definitely cliche but it's well done and not annoying at all in my opinion. A very fun and enjoyable read

Don't know why people calling it cliche novel without reading. If this is cliche then aren't all novels cliche where mc was weak then slowly became powerful and defeat the antagonist and others. Well for me its a good read, it's wholesome and funny. And it's better than most novel and the updates are steady

One of the best novels out there, honestly. No Harem, the MC isn't rushed and everything in the plot connects nicely. It's great if you're looking for smth a bit like Swordmaster's Youngest Son or even Trash of the Count's Family.

An ordinary cultivation novel where the main character gets stronger through a special method that the plot conveniently throws at him, gets mocked by the NPC's, beats the NPC's, and the side characters lose their minds because he is a monster genius lord of god, and repeat. Skip this one
