Great start, pathetic end. It should be 3 stars. I rate it 4 stars because the family situation is well planned and gets very emotional. The world building is good but the characters are mostly flat and cliché. Even the name of the novel is forced by the author to make sense in the end and it comes out as predictable lazy writing. Just drop it somewhere around the middle

Probably the best light novel I’ve read. MC has past memories but is unable to remember and rely on it for most of the series. And when he does regain the memories, they barely help. Not saying anymore to not spoil the story, but 10/10 if I could. If you’re viewing this review right now and haven’t read the novel yet, do so now! I doubt you’d find many of its level.

Boring MC, too naive, he wants to be a hero everywere. He thinks the world its like a game only he can win. For no reason almost every woman in this novel develops a loving attraction for him.

It's a nice novel. I laugh and cry some times....mc is hard working. Atleast he didn't get everything just by like luck or talent but sher Hard work.that the thing I liked about this novel.

Awesome story, when tension is needed there is great tension, the mc feels human, the entire cast feels human, they all have flaws, they all have ups and downs, also the mcs power growth is insane but not story ruining, honestly i feel like it amplifies the story unlike most stories, where the power growth negatively affects it.

After reading 500 Chapters i felt like the Main Character doesn't have his own pride, yes he's strong or whatever but is also a prideless man, always gets humiliated and in the end.

Pretty damn good if I do say so myself and don't be sad about it ending because not only are the side-stories hilarious but there is another story called MEMORIZE and it's kind of like a prequel in another universe.

Alright, I've read up to chapter 344 and this is an amazing story where when the MC is in his lows, they're his lowest. But when he peaks and the author somehow turns it around, the story becomes a train of hype and ecstasy.

Though there are 2 things I wanna complain about. Firstly, the harem element is a bit too much and really isn't needed as other people pointed out as well.

But secondly, I feel like the villains are really shit.

(I'm heading to spoiler territory at this point btw.)

When they revive the world tree are are fighting against the parasite army raging temperance(unicorn) and twisted kindness(dragon). While Undying diligence(succubus) and unsightly humility(skeleton) are attacking the fortress. They are wayy too fucking carefree, mc legit did not deserve those victories and it would've been a good point for our mc to experience losing for the first time, but the villains really just handed them the keys to victory by acting carelessly and just sitting back while their teammates got killed. The succubus and skeleton were jut sitting back while their armies were dying against thunderstones that they themselves could've easily survived and ended the battle immediately. While the dragon really just didn't give a shit about the mcs even after she saw them shred the unicorn.

That's about it though, I like how the family doesn't just forgive and forget like the ex does, and he has to seriously work to get their love back instead of just buying them gifts with money and expecting them to come crawling back to him.

I really loved this series at first, it had a pretty interesting story line, the setting is well thought out and there are a lot of times when the protagonist is outgunned and just barely scrapes by with his life, many things I look for in a web novel.

Unfortunately about halfway through the current chapters I had to stop reading because of stupid harem protagonist bullshit. As the story goes on and on the main character gets worse and worse about it. At first it's like he surgically had the slice of his brain in charge of human relationships removed; a woman will clearly express interest in him, she'll tell him she likes him, she'll literally show him her naked body and then when she kisses him he's like "I wonder why she's acting like this?" But it just gets worse and worse as time goes on. The way he's double dipping with literally every woman in the series is just gross, he's always sleep walking into every womans room and waking up with his head between their breasts, and everyone just shrugs and goes "What an eccentric fellow!" I can ignore a lot of stupid stuff in a series if other parts of it make up for it but even I have my limits.

It's a shame considering I really like the setting, but at some point the story feels less like a dark fantasy novel and more like ecchi harem slop.

One of the best light novels I've ever read, the tension in some arcs some reels you in making you lose your sense of time. The power development of the MC is incredibly balanced and well deserved. The story also goes off track of the past so the MC doesn't use his past life memories to solve every situation. This novel is a must read.

This right here is one of the top novels in the entire light novel industry. This is not even exaggerated. No cliches and the mc gets op towards the end but its understandable why he needed to get that strong. And he had to work towards it. He didnt just go and bulldoze every enemy he faced, in fact many of the fights ended with him almost dying. The plot is one of the best if not the best that I have ever read. I havent spotted any plot holes and each and every detail contributes to the story. You can feel the characters emotions and see the reasoning behind their actions. The contrast between the MC’s life in paradise and his life on earth make the MC seem human and not paint him as some god and the people who know about both of his lives also see this. This one point adds so much to the novel, and make you actually root for the MC that much more. This novel is one that pulls you in and makes you want to binge read it it in one sitting. I absolutely recommend everyone read this novel. I mean everyone. This is hands down one of if not the best light novel out there. I would give it 10 stars if I could (yes, out of 5).

Amazing story, definitely a must read. Translation is always spot on and the mc is very likable if you wait it out. Cant wait to see how it ends.

One of the reasons why I started reading light novels. Very detailed story and the plot reels you in making you want to go do an all-nighter just to finish the story.

Easily in my top 3 of best novel. Chapters are longer than many others in the genre and it makes for a very detailed story.

MC isn't too OP that the story is bland while he's also not dumb enough to make you want to punch him yourself.
