REVIEW UPDATED - SEE BELOW Chapter 8 so far... and the translation is not good. On top of that, this is a wordy novel, so the poor translation becomes a chore. I usually get hooked somewhere in the first 5 chapters, but yes, it's now chapter 8 and it feels like I missed several "hooks" because of the poor translation. "Here is the where you let's then," Dear LORD. UPDATE - It looks like the translators eventually got and editor, and a checker. So the translation definitely improves. I completed reading up to Ch 290, and it's worth it. The LONG writing, takes some getting used to, but I like how detailed the brutality of certain scenes are portrayed. I also like how the MC is just honest about his desires. The webnovel is up to Ch700+. and it's a bit frustrating that it may take a while to translate up to that, so I will be putting this on ice for a year (or two) before continuing to read this.

Is the translation bad throughout the whole thing or only early chapters? It's fine if you don't know I was just curious.

I am really liking the new style of the author, so I've been persevering and am now at Ch.38. Things improve slightly, and the reason why the translation "was" poor it's because it was a one man job. There was no editor. From Ch30-ish, there's an editor, and the reading improves by about 50%. I am hoping things continuously improve as I'm digging the story. Spoiler AlertMC has already gotten laid twice. It's awesome, finally giving a finger to those virgin OP MC tropes.

I agree but this is driving me crazy : In Chapter 64 there is this paragraph; "He moves like one of the Spartan soldiers repelling a million man army in a canyon with three-hundred people. (TL: Author said Ancient Greek Spartans, but the Spartans weren't Greek.) " SPARTANS ARE GREEK.
