Followup to my poison testing commitment . Ok first of all translation is jarring will switch you up povs and confuse you permanently. However the tl does get better at some point and stays good up until the end . This isn't a progression fantasy novel . There is action there is power ups. But mostly this is a romantic drama about a super cool magical world and a professor teaching in it . Personally I don't like romance or drama very much . But even I can see this is an absolute banger and is quite peak . Lastly this is a f*ck*ng tragedy drama . It will make you cry uwu . All that being said this is one of the best stories on the site for sure .also everyone complaining about the ending is on some sh*t . If you get halfway through this novel and you can't see what the f*ck is up and about to happen I mean it was on the label written on the wall and foreshadowed from 900 yrs away xd
Out of all the novels I've read, only this one and Incompatible Interspecies Wives moved me to tears.
