Way of the Devil

Captivating. Thats the best word I can think of to describe the first hundred to two hundred chapters of the novel. One of the best starts of a story that I've read. The fact that its so good makes the rest of the novel even more disappointing. The biggest reason I personally started disliking the novel was when the author suddenly decided to change the protagonists personality and demeanor. He went from being ruthless, decisive and intelligent, not caring about other people unless they're close to him. But the second he realises that some humans are being raised like lifestock he decides its his duty to go against the whole world? This really didn't make sense to me, and after that point the novel only got worse and worse. The techniques and the mystery only got worse as well. The only reason I'm not giving it a 1-star score is because of how great the beginning truly was. tldr: Amazing start, sadly the rest of the novel leaves much to be desired. Recommended to read the first 200 chapter and then to drop it, unless you still like it.

Insane, both the story and the protagonist develop slowly and quickly at the same time, you just don't realize that the story takes giant leaps and still keeps you totally entertained. At first I thought the cultivation was broken and it even seemed like it would be another cliché novel, but no, both the protagonist, the power system and the world are simply incredible. The only thing that I think is very superficial is the protagonist's relationship with the extras throughout the story, I know that it would affect the progression of the story a little. . . but it is very superficial, the character is presented very well but soon falls into oblivion as if he were Shit. . .

A highly exciting action novel. Though don’t expect complete rationality from the main character, He kinda just blitz through things.
Highly recommended for anyone who likes action, and not expectant towards complete rationality.

I have binged the novel. It's unique. But the last update was 10 months ago. I tried mtl but the too many errors. Proper translation seems to be stopped. Is it dropped? Will there be new chapters?

I'm currently at chapter 42 and honestly, this is slow paced novel. So far the world is unique, the system is helpful and ordinary, and so far mc doesnt depend on the system too much. I'm gonna endure myself and keep reading it, maybe there will be exciting and fun chapter. So far, the fun and exciting element is very little.

Ok honest review... novel is bit creepy and with mystery element...I only read 50 chapters and so far mc still developing at very slow pace ... he just learn some bunch of trash skills and that's all... all I can say mc is just too ordinary and placed in between two powerful organizations... if you like slow pace development character then it's for you

The main draw of the novel appears quickly, multiple cultivation systems with their own advantages. After 300 chapters, multiple worlds with their own unique history and corresponding cultivation systems appear (eg. powered suit world, beast world)!
