I do feel like the critics are being a little too harsh on this novel but it's really good so far, maybe it'll change later on but so far so good. If u're hesitating about reading this because of all the critics then don't be, just read it, it's really not bad, sometimes good even. So far I'd give it a solid 4. 4/5 for now ^^

It was a great novel at first but I don't know when, last few hundred chapters it started getting downhill but I still persisted and finished reading it. The ending left disappointed, as the last chapters name suggests the end or the new beginning? I mean the whole ending is a cliffhanger. It would've been fine if there was a sequel but there isn't any!

I've read until chapter 230 and this is what I can say so far. 1. The character development and world building is detailed and doesn't leave any jarring gaps. However it gets very tedious sometimes and I feel the author presents it in a very boring way. Sometimes it feels like the author just crams in unnecessary paragraphs just to meet their 2000 character quota per chapter, which inevitability reduces the quality. 2. The author often presents their own views and comments on events as they unfold. This is good to a certain extent because it allows the reader to perceive things through different angles which they may not have considered. However sometimes these views of the author are too overbearing/biased opinions which impedes the reader from making their own assessment. It basically ruins the fun which would have been derived from the readers exploring the events instead of having everything laid bare which is annoying. 3. Overall I would say it is a good time pass but not something that I feel will get you excited enough to want to spend every second of your free time reading. From what I've read so far, the author rarely takes risks and opts for the normal clichés and settings you'd find in most reincarnation novels, such as a sad past, church is evil, etc. . .

HAREM, I hate novels that have a harem, I mean if mc doesn't want to get married or have a commitment to women why should he get married or have a relationship, but that's just my perspective which I really don't like harem novels

Great world building and amazing story arcs, definitely worth the read. Not too focused on romance or a particular plot line, it gives the story room to breath naturally and to progress smoothly

The positive out ways the negative in this story. I believe that the critics were too harsh in the rating of this story. I won't go in more depth but it's worth giving this story a shot.

I like how the mc doesn't hide his power unlike all mc in the novel I read. I think hiding power is coward. But I think the story kinda rush around chapter 60is

He definitely hides his powers. He mentions it continuously if fact that he'd be carved up like lab rat if he's discovered.

The story is fine, but it seems amateurish to me. Not alot of foreshadowing and half the chapters are just system notifications. Couldn't read more and only got to ch20

I really liked this book, but
1) In chapter 187 taxes turned communist and, because many atrocities were comitted in communist countries, that's not a possibility. Then, he goes on to equate the results of the church's coming invasion (genocide) with a branch lined increase in taxes.
2) I quote: "Since when had he started to make decisions that allowed him to think that acting against a 'few' was fine for the good of the 'many'?" Well, the second he killed the previous royalty?! But that's an exception, I presume...

In the end, the problem lies with the main character. He is quite smart and possesses postmodern knowledge, able to lead the continent into an industrial revolution. Meaning, he has to always provide the best solution and make them succeed, in order to satisfy the expectations. Sadly, however, ultimately he outgrows even the author.
Indeed, without even realizing it, the author had set foot on a path which would definitely lead to nothing but ruin.

I'm currently 700+ chapters in this so i think i pretty much eligible for a review.
Many bad review stated that the MC is too reliant to the system. While that's true, i think it was how it supposed to be about. It even clearly defined in the title. There's no problem about MC's development, as he was so weak at the beginning and having a hard time to slowly rise in power while still facing threats from those above him. (700+ and the MC is still about halfway to the OP-ness. main antagonist still could easily crush him.)
The story proportion of self development and kingdom building is pretty balanced so i did not get bored with too much fighting scene
The writing and story progression is also excellent.
When it comes to LN or WN. Isekai is my favorite genre. I've read a lot of them and this one is spot on. This very much suits my taste.
Go give it a try.
