Yeah it's just plain boring. I am at around 300 chaps, there's no story at all, no character development, girls just randomly love the mc for no reason and MC who is a master in real life loses to gamers in a game with 97% realism. There's so many girls flocking around MC without any development in romance part, if the author doesn't wanna do romance just stop describing girls and how they like MC all the time.

One of the best MMORPG books I’ve read, the character and plot development was really exceptional. It wasn’t too fast and fit wasn’t too slow. MC wasn’t a p*rv*rt and the love interest developed well the romance was really nice, the plot twists hurt though when some characters died and the betrayal I really loved everything about it till the end, the ending was really sentimental also. I like how the MC wasn’t really OP, he was very strong but not OP gives a nice feeling unlike other books

To be honest, like the novel so far at ch 172. Grammar is good. Translation is good. Good story and plot. Love the unique characters. Worldbuilding needs a lot of work. Here is where the critique starts: Too much focus on one girl, no matter how pretty. He is a guy that worked as an undercover military, he has seen enough women!!!! Continuing, he has trained in martial arts by the mentor who helped create the game. How the h**l is he so bad at fighting. I know in the beginning it seems fine, but where I am he takes a chariot to the face. Who in their right mind thinks that a skill will stop a chariot at a higher level than them. Continuing, the game is 90 something realistic. How is a guy who has had martial arts training and gone through the military for most of his life losing to a regular gamer i. e. the gamer with the best gaming skills. I don't know about u but the gamer is the first to get his *ss handed to him on a silver platter 10 times out of 10. I'm sorry, but the people that game enough to become aces don't correlate to activities like fighting in real life. The perfect example is the character Macha that gets the theory and can strategies but is an average player. I'm sorry but the author is placing gamers that won at a game with 20 something percent realism game on the same stage as Master martial artists. There has been no evidence that any of the top players should be as good as they are. Therefore it is hard for me to not put the newbie to martial arts hat on the main character than consider him an awesome bodyguard that can use Qi in real life. On a tangent, what is the deal with the cultivation levels. It is never explained and seems to be a mishmash of other systems. The author uses cultivation levels and expects us to understand what level that that corresponds to in his world. What is the Royal Cloud level anyway. Overall, I'm still able keep reading but the disconnect between the main characters background and supposed abilities as compared to his actions and fighting abilities leave much to be desired. Too much of a hole that doesn't show character growth as much as it would have if he was just a regular bodyguard. Just being a regular bodyguard would have fit the story so much better than some mysterious martial artist that can defeat superhuman in real life. Just too much of a jump for readers to actually believe it. Enough ranting, I give it: Writing:5 stars Background:3 stars Character growth:1, practically nonexistant Plot:4, is there but leaves some to be desired Overall, I give 3. 5 stars, rounded down to 3 because of how unbelievable that main character is martial artist and throws himself in front of a car/chariot and believes his skill can stop it. So mad at his stupidity despite hoe he is supposed to be a war hardened veteran.

Like it but how come the protagonist looks like weak in the game and feels like a noob when he's fighting or it's just me not being able to adapt for a slow growth MC i guess but i still i think its very good novel to pass time

the best mmo type novel I have ever read
unlike Reincarnation Of The Strongest Sword God where it gets more boring and repetitive the more you read ( even more after 1000+) this novel doesn't. rather, it's always something diffrent.
and unlike, say, Overgeared. it doesn't just keep going on and on without knowing how big the scale will end up being and how far the mc will keep going. here the novel has a limit where you can tell when the scale ends and how big the world is
the novel moves at a good pace, not too fast and not too slow.
the romance is slow and doesn't exsist untill more then half of the novel is over( I think, it's hard to remember at this point, but it should be close)
over all, I can easly say the novel is well writen and it was one of the best novels I have ever read so far
but even so, I wouldn't say its perfect, nothing is after all.
it feels rather slow at times, like, too slow.
somethings feel like they took too long to be told to the reader.
like, I have read like 30% already, can I know more about the mc's past?
no
I have read all the translated chapters so far(946), wish they would translate the rest( like 300 more chapters)
the translation actually stopped at the start of 2020 (damn you 2020!!)
I'm still giving this 5 stars tho. I just love it this much
note: after I have read what I have wrote, I thought "damn, this is kinda hard to read" sry lol
btw I have been waiting for a year and a half by now. but, I foun dout that the translation was droped
And, right now, I am reading on mtl...
